Wanted the green but got it in grey as it's the only one with the orange interior. Been loving it so far after about 4 months, alternating it between the bellroy lite sling mini. Can't decide which I like better as I love them both!
Get well soon Bo! Great video as always, I have a few Alpaka slings and my favorites are the Go Sling Mini and the regular Go Sling. They work well not only for EDC, but also for carrying camera gear. I jammed some padded dividers from my old camera bags to the Alpaka bags to give them some extra padding for the camera gear, and velcroed some of those dividers as well vertically to separate the lenses inside the bag. All the best!
@@Youknowthebo just the bare essentials (umbrella, wallet, phone) for nearby trips. I am casting glances at the bellroy venture travel crossbody. Both are kinda similar. Have you played with the bellroy and if so, your thoughts on it?
@kiatography22 cool. It's great for those edc items. I have not tested the Venture travel sling yet. Bellroy does make cool slingbags, but in terms of looks I do prefer other slingbags
People may not like the "clutch/female handbag" shape but it is a good form factor. I really like the way Alpaka Gear slings look. I also wish they used the V-buckle Fidlock.
Personally I don't think it looks feminine at all, female handbag and clutch has its very distinct feminine look to it. But what do I know, maybe I'm just trying to convince my ownself 😄
Muji has a similar sling with a similar slim design. Perhaps not with the same premium materials but pretty good IMO. Good enough for simple daily use. The strap comes with a standard release buckle
Thank you very much. That's a long time. Appreciate you for watching this long. I really like the Wuben X=, because it looks like a spaceship, but also has this 90 degree angle so you can attach it to a backpack shoulderstrap if you want. the output is great whilst not being too big.
I cant test it with an ipad mini myself. But from the product pictures an ipad mini should fit. And since it is so slim I do believe the capacity is 2L although it might look big from the dimensions
Yes the flight sling fits an ipad mini even with a case on at the padded slot. It seems to pack more than its advertized 2L capacity and despite its slim profile. I still love my bellroy lite sling mini when I don't need to bring along my ipad mini.
@@Youknowthebo I use a Simpl Phone Sling for my two cellphones and passport. And for a primary Tech Pouch, presently alternating between a Pakt 3L and the ALPAKA Tech Pouch Mini; recently picked up a regular size too, to see what that might offer me.
Why do you keep calling it "Alpaka Gear" (and I don't mean just in this video)? The name of the brand is just Alpaka. They probably couldn't get the domain and had to add "gear" to the url, but nowhere else does it say more than just Alpaka.
I guess because it's an "old" thing for me that I can't get rid of. Seven years ago I reviewed their first bag "the AlpakaGear 7messenger" and as far as I remember, they were introduced to me as "alpaka gear" and it just stuck with me since then. I assume they dropped the "gear" years ago, but it's just something that stuck. I will try to call them Alpaka in the future 😉✌️

Thanks, Gary. Next week there is the Modern Dayfarer video with the Leica vs Lumix comparison.
@@Youknowthebo can't wait for it! 😁
I’ve been carrying the moft folding stand; really thin & useful
I got this few weeks back, and absolutely love it!
That's awesome. WHat do you carry in it?

I have this. Fits a ton 👌🏽
Yeah, It's a spacious bag

Agreed: I v-buckle Fidlock would be amazing on this

Muji makes great stuff. Haven't been in one of their stores in awhile though
Great video! Are you able to put the osmo pocket with the extended battery connected into your pack?
Great review, have one i agree %100
Thank you very much for watching
Hey, just want to drop a note to say you are still killing it. Been watching you since I review the GR1 years ago.
Any flashlight rec?

Is it really only 2L? It looks much bigger. (I have a Bellroy Lite Sling 7L to hold my iPad Mini because it wouldn't fit well in the 4L sling)

I bought one when it came out. Yet, am hard-pressed to use it so far. I like its slimness. Yet for me other sling/tech pouches have won out.
THanks for commenting. May I ask which slingbag you use at the moment?

Jetzt müsste das noch in X-Pac geben und voila, Perfekt
Ja, XPAC wäre nice.
I wear it on my waist
looks ridiculous but functional lol
I will probably wear it on my waist as well when I will be flying

Must. Resist. Buying. Urge
hahaha. Sorry for fueling the gear acquisition syndrome
