Every few months I feel the need to re-watch this video. I know the girl has a terminal disease, but what happens in the video could also apply to a relationship where one of them has a mental illness and the other one makes sure they're taking their pills and is there through the good and bad times. I know I’m probably wrong, but when I heard this and watched the video, my brain immediately said depression. My boyfriend takes care of me like that, even when I’m depressed and I feel like it upsets him because he never feels like anything he does is enough. He has depression too, so whenever I’m depressed, he automatically assumes that it’s because of him. I need him to know it’s not because of him. I love this boy so much more than I ever thought possible and I just need him to know I appreciate him so much.

Many years ago, I met this incredible guy on a beautiful, yellow October evening. We formed a really special connection and it was one of those relationships that was just easy. It’s rare to find that person who just ‘gets’ you. We were great friends for a while but we always knew there was something more. So we gave the relationship thing a shot but unfortunately, due to circumstances, it didn’t work out. I guess we were just too similar. So during our time together, we listened to this song quite a bit. We always had a soft corner for ARTTM, and this song was our favorite.
Fast forward a few years, I am with a different guy now and he’s amazing and I love him very much. I’ll be marrying him soon :) But sometimes, I come back here and listen to this song and it makes me smile. I do miss him, but not in a bad way. He’ll always have a special place in my heart. After all, he’s the one that got away :) Wherever he is now, I hope he’s happy and I wish him well.

OMG! This song is very emotional and when you listen carefully you can already understand that Debby is very sick and is dying slowly because of Amnesia. He will do anything to keep her alive and he said that he will write her this song but he said is it ever enough. He said that he is still drought in her love and he will drink till he's drunk which tells us that he loves her a lot. He gave her medicine he took her everywhere and he did many things for her. This song is emotional but it is not a very funny song though it tells us that she is dying slowly by Amnesia and it also tells us that he is helping Debby to stay alive because he loves Debby very much and wants her to be alive....

you know what i find really weird? a few years ago, this song used to be my absolute favourite, and that's saying something. i would watch this video constantly, listen to it all the time, and was absolutely heartbroken when they broke up. skip a few years and i've only recently come back to this song, solely because my favourite band is now twenty one pilots and josh is friends with debby. i remembered that this was the first time i ever saw her and thought that it was such a weird coincidence that she was in this video, for my favourite song, and was at the time dating the drummer of the band who i would later discover and who has created songs which have become my new, absolute, beyond favourite songs, in such a special way. so i come back to this video, click on it, and see immediately that they were signed to fueled by ramen, the exact same record label that tøp are under. i just think those mixture of coincidences are so weird. unless josh managed to put a good word in for debby for the role in this video or something. i don't know. anyway, i adore this song.
