Sucks so fucking bad as most of the time I can separate the artist from the music but some cases not so possible Kind of like Kid Rock and Ted Nugent maybe some/one song good music but they are such garbage . @@BirdOfHermes83 the drummer of DIS stole the bands social medias and other stuff and basically removed them I think so the remaining DIS members made Defamed which might i add is leagues above whatever DIS has been putting out
This EP is simply amazing, the beginning feels like your on a quest for something mysterious. Then as each song plays out you discover more to this mystery. But when you reach the last song you realise your stuck in eternity dancing away into the abyss 🖤
I kind of moved on from deathcore for now and I listen to a lot of other music but this brought me back and oh boy, did it deliver. Incredible work as always, guys. Definitely a top 5 deathcore band for me. Maybe top 3 even.

First Impressions brothers. I love the production on this the mix has a lot of really awesome character. Modern mixes are so good they tend to loose that sick blackend raw grit that this brings to the table. The opener has a lot of really killer melodic progression that I was kind of blown away by. I wouldn't even write it off as "another lorna shore" style project either, the blend of instruments and strings is just really solid on this and tends to have a lot more progressive movement opposed to structured movement. Super solid synth work and you can tell a lot of effort went into this especially in the vocal presentations. 🎉
I'll be honest: Besides The Dancer, I didn't listen to any of the other pre-released songs last year cause I didn't want to spoil myself. So I waited 'til the ep was out and I gotta say, having listened to twice now, it really exceeded my expectations! The orchestral/symphonic elements make you feel like you're on an epic journey while simultaneously fighting a million video game bosses. Guitars and drums are more technical than ever without sacrificing good songwriting and the solos add a lot. Shoutout to whoever recorded bass even if a part of me wishes it had more time in the spotlight. I also loved the use of slower, more dynamic sections on some of the songs like Blackblood and Crystal Prison. The latter catching me off guard with the hip-hop interlude towards the backhalf and the former with its groovy as hell breakdown at the end. Last but not least, Mattia and Simone's vocals are just a brutal as ever and their chemistry is absolutely fantastic! Overall, Blackblood is a worthy follow-up to Aeon and I personally think it's even better! It manages to sound different than Aeon without abandoning the heaviness that Defamed usually offers. Great work guys! Once there's high demand, I hope I get to see you guys live in the states someday!
