  • Welcome to a full morning of homemaking in our house. My goal is to provide you with footage to inspire you to be productive - give you cooking motivation, cleaning motivation and healthy homemaker recipes, but mostly it is to share the encouraging message from God in the voiceover. This video can be used for visual purposes or as an audio only podcast.
    Vegan/Gluten Free Blueberry Pancakes:
    1 Cup Oat Flour
    1 TBS Baking Powder
    1 Cup Almond Milk
2 TBS Coconut Oil + more for greasing skillet
2 TBS Plant Based Protein Powder (chocolate or vanilla)
    1 TSP Pure Vanilla Extract
    1/2 Cup Blueberries
    Proverbs 31:30
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
We live in an age of absolute narcissism. People constantly glaring in the mirror forwards and backwards taking selfies, posting look at me and all the things I own highlight reels, self obsession and modern day prostitution through platforms like onlyfans.
Outward appearance and beauty is vain. Fearing God is the virtue that God is looking for. He is looking for a meek and quiet spirit. THAT is what is precious in the sight of God.

I love your videos! They are beautiful and inspiring!❤ I greatly appreciate the Biblical lessons you teach and the Christ centered message you’re sharing. With that being, I need to point out something you said in this video that needs correction. Adam was with Eve when she was deceived by the serpent. Please see Genesis 3:6-7 “When the woman saw that fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for getting wisdom, she took some and ate. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. VS 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realized they were naked…” (NIV) I hope these verses clarify any misunderstanding you and others may have had. Once again, thoroughly enjoying your videos and I pray that the Lord would continue to bless and grow your channel. 😊

Thank you! This is so good, and I appreciate anyone who corrects me because as someone taking on the responsibility to teach, it’s so important! What do you think about 1 Timothy 2:14 when it says And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. I wonder if the conversation was private between the serpent and Eve? Because wouldn’t they both have been deceived if they were both there and involved? Such a good convo! I’m gonna pin it to the top 🙂

@AnnaDysert Hi Anna, I just wanted you to know that I did read your response to my comment and I'm planning to reply my thoughts. I just wanted to take some to study and prayerfully consider what you shared. Thanks for being open to having a conversation about it. 😊 Watching your videos has actually inspired me to start my own channel and blog. Anyways, I'll be replying my thoughts to your response soon.

@AnnaDysett Hi Anna, sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this conversation. Life got hectic. But anyways, after much prayer and study, I can confidently say, the passage you mentioned does, in the original languages, mean what you shared.
The only thing that I wanted to note was the cultural context of the passage. Timothy is a young pastor in a church in Ephesus. Ephesus is known for being the Las Vegas of the ancient world. It was full of drunken parties, prostitution, gambling, etc.
The believers in the Ephesian church where Timothy is pastoring are struggling with being misled by the false teaching being shared in the city.
The women would behave in inappropriate manners like disrupting the service to ask questions and also trying to teach the false teachings that many believers were being misled by.
So basically, Paul is explaining to Timothy that as the leader of the church (being like Christ who is the head of the church), he needs to confront his congregation and correct the false teachings. By saying that Adam wasn't the one who was deceived, I believe (from the use of words in the original Greek) that Adam wasn't deceived because he disobeyed rather than being manipulated like Eve was.
After all, Biblically, the husband is supposed to be the spiritual leader of the household. So the fact that Adam was there with Eve, partook in the disobedience rather than correcting his wife and rebuking the serpent, shows me that Adam allowed himself to become complacent.
Personally, throughout my own Bible study time, I can agree that Adam wasn't deceived. Instead, he was simply irresponsible and lacked judgment. As for Eve, she was deceived (manipulated), but also straight up disobedient too because she was there when God said not to eat from that tree. She acknowledged that to the serpent.
But in the Genesis 3 passage we can also see what I believe can be interpreted as confusion on her part, especially once the serpent begins his little statements of planting doubt in Eve "did God really say..."
Please also note that none of this is suggesting in any way that women have less ability to discern truth than men. In fact, the message we should be taking away is that (1) Adam and Eve should have each been more trusting of God, (2) they should have held each other accountable as partners [which is what marriage is--a partnership], and (3) Eve should've been willing to confirm with Adam ["who was with her"] what it was that God clearly said.
Bottom line, they were both dumb dumbs, stubborn, and already acting out their God-given free will. Because God wants us to choose Him, not for us to be little robots. 😊 I hope this makes sense.

Thank you so much for these reminders! A lot of sin is packaged as "self-care", which feels tricky because we are called to love ourselves, so I agree with emphasizing the importance of being grounded in the Word so we can know how to take care of ourselves and others properly.

I hope you dont take this the wrong way, but just a recommendation...when getting baking powder get the one without aluminum in it. I think the redford brand at walmart is the only one. My husband is the smartest shopper.(:
