For those slagging this live performance, bear a couple of things in mind.....this is what a PERFORMANCE looks like. They're not just playing the song, they're PERFORMING it. The performance in itself becomes the art - in all it's incredibly f'd up glory. Both Peter and Leah seem to really feed off the 'abuse' they deal each other on stage live - the entire band is digging it, and they do it beautifully. I love Peter Dreimanis' artistic style - right down the Gibson strap on the Fender guitar. And Leah Fay, well, that woman is lightening in a bottle and someone left the cap off....thankfully for us. Also, the music on this video sounds like shit because the mix is a train wreck. Seriously, did they get chimpanzees with Tinnitus to mix this? Jayzuz. So yeah, I'm a fan of these guys. In a big, LARGE way. They is genius. Also, Chimpanzees With Tinnitus is available as a band name if anybody wants it......
I was just about to buy tickets to an upcoming show of theirs but watching this video has made me seriously doubt if I'm going.. The fuck is wrong with her.
They fuck with each other on all live shows, pulling, rubbing heads, next biggest band, taking over, the 2 voices are amazing together.
