It was a huge learning moment for many, and one lovely human went and sat with the perpetual music machine and asked "Why?"-- his answer was surprisingly eye opening and mental health was a part of it, but kudos to her for trying to figure him out. We will certainly attend again, every learning minute was worth it.
Wow….. Wow….Wow… great video. I watched this from my Rig in the desert, (near Big River Ca.) at ~6:30 this Monday Jan.22, 23… great production. Great content. I'm a new fan and subscriber. One of the best produced YT videos ever. Thanks.
You LOOK old enough to actually have attended the original 1969 Woodstock event but since I did I do have to hand it to you.....I personally could not deal with the disrespect at current Skoolipaloozi events. I find them very fake and a pretend event for young'uns trying to be what they are not. I am sure some of them are following their heart which is great. I am always in the area every year but would not subject myself to attending. Good video.
Damn, you just said this pirate looks ~15 years older than he is... Kinda rude. I was eleven years old in '69... This pirate is 4 years younger than me. I'm just saying.... damn.
put this on your calendar "descend on bend" and " the bus fair" Oak ridge Oregon ..you won't see that there..we hope..lol...just a couple thing happening..Peace..
We didn't make it this year. Tbh the all night rave is beyond annoying. That same person did the same thing last year, rave all night at the entrance. Thanks for your video. What's the name of the book bus?
It is what it is you can be around great people or like my experiance in quartzstie druggies raidy my camp and messing with my rig. Im glad im not there anymore.
The loud on and off music was super annoying, I only got fractions of sleep and left after 2 nights. I get the main party area but that guy doing it to piss everyone off is a giant piece of 💩
I enjoyed your content. I respect your decision to move on. I think we think big to find solutions as individuals, but forget how small our action needs to be to find resolution as a group. This situation troubled me, so I ended up playing this scenario in my head. If people gathered at the offending camp chairs in hand without confrontation for an hour engaging with each other and the offenders if they chose... successful conflict resolution is the bane of humanity. People are really like the weather, though we all seem to see each other like a snapshot of the moment.
A small problem. When you're hanging out there, you're just a few feet from the guy with a gun, who - apparently - is a friend of the art bus sociopath.
It's a festival there's going to be music there's going to be party! Seriously... Go enjoy a couple of days to the fullest and leave... 🤷🏻♂️ I'll be tired of people music or not within few days anyway. That's why this lifestyle works for me 🙄 I'm not anti social but I've learned the more you stay around people the more chances of dealing with those people's problems increase! 😂 From loud music to hearing about losing a pet 10 years ago!
Yes and no. The endless battle between the two sides over who owns a name and the rights to a spot on public land is absurd. But the majority of the people are wonderful, so I suppose it's what you can put up with. Nikki and I are kinda split. I'm not excited about a return, but she sees the wonderfulness.
Dug your video. I no can find a JOIN button. I wasn't going to JOIN, but if I did want to...well, you get the point. I will hit the SUBSCRIBE button, though. Also, I don't start fights, but I tend to finish them. Unfortunately, that is highly impractical in today's disintegration of society. I sincerely hope I can follow your lead and employ turning the key and disengaging the parking brake form of conflict resolution. (Never mind the JOIN button thing. I see it materializes once the SUBSCRIBE button is pushed.)
I’m currently a van-dweller; but can appreciate the skoolie crowd. However, who needs BS drama - the music playing culprit needs some self-reflection that the World doesn’t revolve around them. As far as the copyright issues you mentioned between the two groups, that’s a tough one. Money is tight for many folks and if that income stream gets compromised due to “theft” really - I can understand the angst. But, fight back the legal way not thru gorilla warfare. Good video, haven’t caught your channel before. Will follow for future content…
Nice video until the Trump comment, maybe try and keep politics out of your videos. That comment, your rainbow crocks and slow motion rainbow flag just showed how liberal you are.

💚 Thanks for watching!
Wow, I always thought of these as a peace loving utopia. But I guess everything that we touch gets somehow messed up. Great video.
I NEVER comment on videos but I MUST declare this to be -if not the - one of the - BEST videos ever posted on youtube!!!
Ummm, thanks! (And where do I send the fee for this comment? LOL!)
Thank You
I really enjoyed this video - excellent editing and content, made me smile several times. Two thumbs up for sure!
That’s why a lot of us avoid these meetups
I have wheels under my house for a reason. Heck with drama.

Yes, destroying everybody's mental health does seem to be part of it.
F that guy Devin I think his name is with the Pirate bus!

I love all the interviews
Gandolf, I really enjoyed your video. Thanks, kind of refreshing your story telling style.
Excellent production values!
I thoroughly enjoyed your pacing and narration!
Dis'ing in Trump? Happened so fast there, not sure.
Thanks for sharing your experience. That drum that you gifted your partner was really nice! 😊
Powerful ending!

beautiful message at the end

Very well made video. Welcome to Loreto your moto bus neighbors.

Some people I think were confused and thinking they were at Burning Man.
Been living in my rv for a year...completely different when done solo...Gets lonely after awhile
The loud on and off music was super annoying, I only got fractions of sleep and left after 2 nights. I get the main party area but that guy doing it to piss everyone off is a giant piece of 💩
Accidents happen.
Completely unpredictable...
One person ruins the event
That was good
I'd rather walk across broken glass!! Screw that!!

Skooliepalooza has turned into an absolute shit show.

I just read your comment!
I'm such a fan of you guys. I've followed along from bus to van, to baby!

Why disrespect Trump?
You must have voted for Biden…..how’s that working out for ya?
Quite well actually. Thanks for asking.
