I hope you are feeling better now, because yes, the bad moments are going away somehow, there is a solution for everything till the end, but the good, beautiful ones stay with us much longer, even through pages like this. Beautiful pages, like always, like the ones from last video, silent witnesses of what brings you happiness. Have a beautiful weekend with your loved ones (husband, friends and journals)!⚘🤗⚘

Great flea market finds Barbara!! Greetings from Salzburg. 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Love the idea of washi in place of ordinary cellophane tape for repairs. You always give such great ideas for using ephemera. I recently watched Natasha’s video and immediately recognized it when you pulled out your box. When you mention someone here, I always check them out.
Little Olde ME Artistry- Marie E Hines Thank you for your kind feedback! Those ruffles are so much fun! Are you planning on making some? I’m so happy you find my videos helpful! ❤️

Wanda Lorenz Thanks Wanda! Oh I’m so happy that travel journal video was helpful! I loved making mine as well!
Great finds at the Flea Market. May I suggest putting some lace trim around the embroideried piece to hide the glue showing through that beautiful pocket. As we say, Easy Peasy!!!! Thank you for sharing your finds and your lovely video. 💖
Donna Hunter Thank you Donna! I will do that, thanks! 😘❤️

Angelika Schlager hahaha wir brauchen immer was wir nicht haben 😊😘
@@49dragonflies wie wahr!!!! Und es kommen noch Flohmärkte!!! Hihiiii....bussal
Beautiful 🌷
Some wonderful vintage items.
Love all you’ve done today tfs xx
You are so talented 👍🏻
Hey, Barbara!
I love all those wonderful finds that u use from the flea market! Beautiful colors, patterns & textures that carry memories... 💟 That Hungarian table cloth reminds me of a blouse I had as a child (though mine was Romanian, I think 😆 lol)
BTW, (mini) tape runners r MY best friends, furthermore, I think they r one of humanity's greatest inventions 😂... lol (no more sticky fingers n messy desk 🤗 Y-A-Y!!!)
*** Not sponsored by any brand
☝;-) S-A-D-L-Y !!! 😘 Liat
BeautyBug 1 Thanks Liat! 😘❤️ im sure the Romanian style is very similar! Tape runners are good for some things, but tricky for others I find. I don’t like that there is no flexibility in moving the piece 😬😘
@@49dragonflies
I agree with u about tape runners, n u def have more experience in journaling 😉💕
In "real" life I'm a big planner & list lover, but in my crafts... I love the #Kamikazemethod 😂 lol... aka,
I go for what I want at the
spur-of-the-moment
n roll with it 😎 ! #forbetterorforworse 😲 Ha ha ha...
BeautyBug 1 hahaha love that method!! 😊👍🏻😘
@@49dragonflies Have a fabulous weekend, my dear 🍸👠💋!!!
BeautyBug 1 Thanks and same to you sweetie! 😘❤️
I don't know if someone has said it, but Hema is not a stationary store it is more like a muji (which we don't have in the Netherlands) or like a department store (but smaller) with different sections
Again a great video..I love them..I want to start my own book somewhat like this just pasting my favorite things..thank you..❣️
Susan Ricker Thank you Susan! You should have a go, I know you will love it!! ❤️
💕
Beautiful as always Barbara! You have some great ephemera! tfs. Lori
Love your pages today! As for the fabric pocket, next time try sewing the fabric to a piece of cardstock, then you have a surface for the glue😉
Cheryl Richter Hi Cheryl and thanks, that’s a great idea! ❤️😘
The labels are great! The other things too, but the labels are so different from the rest🙃😁. You have a great eye for seeing wonderful new ways of using unusual items.
You could allways glue (pink) lace over the ugly gluespots on the fabric pocket. How I come up with this solution? .......made the same mistake with glueing fabric😉😂
Maud Hiemstra Haha thanks, yes, I think I will do that! 😊👍🏻😘. Love using different styles in my journal. Keeps it interesting 😘❤️
Love your pages, as always. If you really dislike the glue showing thru on your fabric pocket you could use your double sided tape and tape some narrow lace or ribbon over the glue marks. (Look at me, giving you a suggestion, like I know what to do! 😂😂)
Marcia Porcelli Haha thank you Marcia, that is indeed a fantastic tip! Look at you!!! 😁😘❤️
So lovely! I wanted to suggest that you could add some narrow trimming or ribbon on the edges of the tablecloth pocket to hide the glue marks and I now see in the comments others did that as well, haha! Have you tried using your glue stick? I have glued fabric to paper with that often and it really works very well!
theQuietRebel Thank you for your feedback! I have used glue stick for thinner fabrics, but never for thicker kinds. I can try that, thanks! ❤️
Love all your work! Do you go back later on and use the journalling cards for journalling?
Ali Hager Hi Ali and thank you! 😘. Yes, I will journal on those later 😊❤️
I have a really weird question but when you washi tape a picture to make it a flip out, do you leave a bit of excess tape on the top and bottom of either side? Sometimes I feel like if o don't the picture will rip out but it's just an eyesore. I hope this made sense 😅
Samantha Lubitz Hi Samantha, not a weird question at all! 😊. I don’t do it, but if I feel the washi won’t hold enough I add glue stick to it. I hope that helps.
Dear Barbara, the cover of this journal is so bful, where can i bought this. Is it cloth ?
Thanks! It’s no fabric, it’s a book I found at my flea market.
If you are looking for more Beautiful words to put down in your journal you should look up the positive lexicography project by Tim Lomas. On his website he made a list of words from around the world you can’t translate properly because they are all feelings. There is a translation or meaning rather after every word so you can kind of comprehend what is being said. I love using those
Imke Lucius Thank you so much for this tip! I will check it out, sounds amazing ❤️
Imke Lucius Hi Imke, I was looking at the page you recommended, it couldn’t locate the lost of words. Would you mind sending me the link to those? Thanks so much! ❤️
www.researchgate.net/publication/332849033_Lexicography_listed_by_alphabet
This is the link where you will find the file to download the list in alphabetical order.
Or you can go to drtimlomas.com then go to lexicography in the menu and then you will find a button for the list in alphabetical order and a button for the list by theme.
You should also watch his Ted talk about this. It gives some backstory to what this list is all about.
Do you have a video on using washi as a tip in option. Every time I put mine in it either doesn’t look right or it’s sticky on one side because of the way I add it in
Penny Carr Hi Penny, I’m afraid I don’t, but will do a better job of explaining when I do it next time. Also, I will be offering more free journal consulting sessions via Skype so we could also discuss the issue there 😊
49dragonflies thank you
I have such problems with that for some reason
Penny Carr no worries, we all have problems with certain things 😊. I’m also just learning as I’m going along... 😘
Hello Barbara! Can I ask where do you find those lovely quotes and definitions and words that you have in your word box? I have one as well but I only have really basic words.. don’t know where to find the inspiration for anything else..
Stefania Mincio Hi Stefania, I wish I could give you a link, but I cannot find them again 😩. I found them on Google a long time ago by coincidence. I will soon be able to link to some great definitions and words by Emma.
49dragonflies great, thanks!
I love your style. Simply amazing.❤️
Love it! Can you please send the Ali link for the cheesecloth?
Thank you and here you go: www.aliexpress.com/item/32811864884.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4ddRMyRP
Ah shame about the glue on that lovely linen pocket, maybe you can run some ribbon down each side to hide it... Pink or the colours that are in the flowers... Gorgeous lace and the postcard. Sorry you're not having a good day, hugs to you 😘😘😘🌹🌹
Chattylaine - Elaine Thornton Thank you sweet Elaine! All better on my side 😊😘. Good idea for the pocket, will try that! 😊😘
Hi! Can i question what do you writing in your anotacions ? 😆🙈🙈🙈
The paper ruffles are super cute!
603kim Crafts Thanks! I love using them (more tomorrow 😊) you should make some! 😊❤️
Great session. You are so sweet
