Testament is truly one of the best thrash bands out there and they should be given more credit than they are given. Their style is just totally awesome, no one truly sounds like them at all.

Ah well, he also said that Lars Ulrich is a bad drummer. As a matter of fact Testament in their early days had a problem with their Metallica influences but not as big as they thought or Dave Mustaine thought. I always considered them extremely creative and original, even then.

Every time Alex solos it makes sense....melodic and straight to the point.

I was watching greatest acoustic metal songs and I stumbled upon Testament, 2 hours later I'm still listening to them I WISH I FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM EARLIER!! I fucking love their band

The whole album holds up, I can’t understand why it’s consider weak. Face in The Sky, Falling Fast, Souls of Black, Malpractice, The Legacy all killer. I bought this and Iron Maiden No Prayer for The Dying on cassette the same day.

But I remember them saying it was written and recorded in six weeks, and generally it probably isn't as strong or focused as their debut or The New Order. But I do like as many songs on it as I do say... Practice What You Preach.

I havent listened to this song in years and shame on me. Brought me back to my teens. Loved them them love them still. Underrated as a band. As musicians it doesn't get any better. testament is so overlooked, the fact that shittalica with their poser music are alowed in the "big four" but the beautiful testament is not makes me so sad. chuck is one of the best vocalists ever, alex is one of the best guitarists ever and the entire chemestry of the band is perfect. my biggest inspiration for the music that i make ❤
