Interesting. You finished the inside with oil i see. Depending on the wood do you think it'd be better to leave it unfinished

Yes I do think unfinished would be better, it leeches oil into the coffee, which obviously isn't desirable.
I thought I would be able to fully cure the oil to prevent that but it didn't end up being the case.
