Miles Wood is experiencing the same situation as Yegor over in Colorado! im stoked for him. he was given the ice time & has showed that he can contribute. this might be an unpopular opinion but i think the NJD think too highly of their “all star” players - bc the reality is that they aren’t contributing much. Jack Hughes turns over the puck whenever pressured bc he’s too afraid of body contact. Dougie Hamilton will 10/10 times reach out his stick rather than take the body to stop a player from getting a good shot on net. Tyler Toffoli might be a sniper but he requires everyone around him to do the dirty work to get the puck to him standing in front of the net. i feel like none of these supposed top players give 100% to the game. then you have a guy like Alex Holtz getting screwed over & that kid is gonna give you 110%. i don’t get it.🤷🏻‍♀️
