Searched for lamb breyani and this was the only thumbnail that appealed to me😂. Was even more glad when I realised it was a south african version of the recipe. Thank you!
You’re welcome 😊 definitely puts a smile on my face knowing that you chose mine over the rest lol. Hope you try it out soon, would love to hear how it turned out
@@eatmeerecipes made it the previous weekend. Was absolutely delicious🥺. Thought I'd have enough leftover for the week but the pot got wiped out within 24 hours!😁. Will definitely be trying it out again.
Your step by step guide was brilliant. Thank you so much. I made my breyani yesterday and it turned out great. The only thing I did differently was that I used ready cooked lentils from a can. I simply rinsed and mixed it into the cooked rice. I also cooked my lamb for an hour, just to make sure it turned out tender. Once again, thank you for your great videos. Your channel is flourishing and good to see.
love your recipe videos Denisiya - not long and boring - just a click of your fingers :-). I learnt how to make tin fish breyani because of your recipe. BIG THUMBS UP.
Lovely. Dont be discouraged by critics n thumbs down. Recipes differ. Cooking is about trying new things n experiencing new falovours. Excellent presentation. Ta so much
@@eatmeerecipes there are a few. But it's just not the same. Tbh I've focused much of my efforts on finding the perfect bunny chow and finally found one that meets my Durban standards. Will try their biryani next. But it would be great to cook to at home too!
Hi Denisa, thanks for the quick response last night. I just want to know if I can boil the breyani Dahl tonight to make it easier for me tomorrow. I'm very excited. Can't wait to try it tomorrow. 🙏
Heys please check here eatmeerecipes.co.za/indian-cuisine/lamb-biryani/ It's the full step by step written recipe...I unfortunately did not have a bake option on my oven so just normal setting 👍
Will the 40min cooking time on the lamb make any cut of lamb tender? I ask this because when I googled a lot of people say you should cook stewing cuts of lamb for like 2hours. Was wondering if that's more like beef where you have to boil it for forever before you cook it?
I kept mine in the oven for about an hour (was worried that I would have too much liquid at the bottom from previous experiences) and the meat came out perfectly tender.
Heys, lamb cooks perfectly well in the 40 minute time bracket - you may cook it for longer if preferred but I find it's the perfect cook time for this dish. Once it goes into the oven, it will also cook so do try it with these times & let me know how it goes. Would love to hear your feedback.
@@eatmeerecipes I did make some lamb breyani. I watched a few videos including yours to understand the process then attempted what I thought would work best with what I have in the kitchen and to the taste preferences I like. So thanks for being part of the learning experience. I'm not 100 percent sure how long the lamb was on for because I cooked it for about 30min then I let it bubble away on low heat while I fried the potatoes and prepared the dhal and rice. But when I finally did combine everything and let it steam the meat was very soft which I appreciated. Thanks for the response. Stay safe.
Petra Govind heys, thank you so much, I just checked on different devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and all seem fine, maybe check your screen settings on your device? Thank you

Why do you have to go through all those spices. Isn't all wet Masala the best
Masala doesn't contain all the spices but it's your preference as to which spices you want to add. This is how I prefer it 👍
