So glad I stumbled upon your video, thanks for sharing! 👍 In the midst of planning my trip back to Dubai in Feb, '23. This time exploring more of 'old Dubai'. Is it similar renting a car there as in the US? Jebel Jais is on my itinerary. Any driving/road tips? And tips on preparing myself for the souks in Deira? Heard it can be quite intimidating with the haggling and all.... yet for an overall great experience. TY!!
Thank you for watching! Yes, it is similar to renting a car in the US. There are gas station/rest stops all along the highways. At the souks, you can just choose to ignore or politely say/signal no. Be aware of people trying to overprice things because you're a tourist. You'll enjoy your stay!
A whole vibe‼️ You wore the heck out of that yellow dress (still owe us a few pics on IG🤣) Ambrose is officially the celebrity guest that pops in and out of the vlogs 😂 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Girl, I had to rewatch this video cause I'm going to Dubai next week. Can't wait to explore and have the best time. Quick question regarding the money, can I use my US debit/credit cards to make payments throughout? Do I need cash and if so which currency is best?
You’ll definitely love it, it’s a vibe! You can use your debit and credit cards, they’re widely accepted (just make sure to alert your bank). It’s always good to have cash (AED), especially if you’re visiting the souks in Old Dubai where they mostly use cash. I was able to withdraw dirhams from the atm using my US card. Safe trip!
When we visited (in May), they did ask for a negative PCR test. The website is in the description which can provide more up-to-date information on this.
Ayeee notification gang!🤟 I really enjoyed watching this one.
Thanks girl! 🥰

Awesome 👌 do they have a shuttle available to take you to your hotel?
The hotel we stayed in (Millennium Place Dubai Marina) does not have airport shuttles services (as of 10/19/22).
