I have some crinkle rayon and have seen it one time. It was a challenge to cut, stretched out of shape and still stretches when I wash it and hang it to dry. I have put it in the dryer. If you have any tips and interested in making a video… I’d love that!! I really love double gauze and do not find it difficult to sew with, maybe I am odd? 😂 I used a quality name brand fabric and it was a pleasure.

Oooh interesting, I have sewn with a crinkle rayon once, years ago!! I made an oversized shirt though so it wasn't too bad... but that hem!! Oooff... I think I need to practice a bit more with it myself!

I am not convinced by the Donny Shirt either.
Something to bear in mind is that the Maison Fauve do a Salto top which you can get out of a metre of fabric.
Also the Cedrat camisole (free pattern). They also have a couple of other top patterns if you are at the lower end of their sizes.
