What a fun surprise to find a reaction to Anoushka Shankar! I saw her father Ravi Shankar perform in 1967! I’m a fan of her now as well as her 1/2 sister Nora Jones who is a singer. They have collaborated on several beautiful songs.

("Ha, Ha!") I told You she could fly with that thing! Personally, I feel that Anushka is the Best there is on this instrument. How Cool 😎 would it be to watch her jam with Taimane on the Ukulele?!! Glad that I could share. 🤘🎼🎵🎶🎸🎤🎙

Her father Pt. Ravi Shankar was probably the greatest Sitar player ever.

@@aayushhh95he was the most popular but the greatest sitar player was Pandit Nikhil Banerjee.

      @@mithunvasudevan7796What would you suggest?
I have been enjoying Niladri Kumar and his playing of raag kaunsi kanada from his revelation album.

@@computerfile every raag that Pandit Nikhil Banerjee performs is just pure perfection and is absolutely beautiful to hear. To give some examples listen to his Malkauns, Bhimpalasi and Bilaskhani Todi. The depth that he goes in each raag brings out the true essence of the raag. It's just pure mastery at the craft.

It’s time for you to search for “the voice of the moon” by Anoushka Shankar and listen to it. You don’t have to react on it, but listen to it and then decide what do you wanna do with it.

Her solo is more dangerous and faster than any metal guitar play.
