To give some examples listen to his Malkauns, Bhimpalasi and Bilaskhani Todi. The depth that he goes in each raag brings out the true essence of the raag. It's just pure mastery at the craft.

Way back when! there were many a hazy night spent with the beautiful sounds of Ravi.
Those are called the tabla, an Indian classical percussion instrument.
