I can't listen to this song without 😢, this is about the same exact relationship I had with my father when he was alive 😂, then when IT happened, it hurt for years until I heard this, then I broke down and sobbed like a baby, you guys are AWESOME 😊❤

Same, first time I heard this song was about 3 months after my dad died when I was 11. It legitimately sent me into shock, one of those songs that every lyric resonated with me. Like the song had been written about me
I love this and the love I can see between you two! Becka got me in tears. Both my parents have passed. I lost my mind when my mom left! My bond with her was stronger. Everyone thought I was going to relapse because of it. Nobody would have been surprised. Thing is, my mom loved me unconditionally. It hurt her to see me when I was active in my addiction. Drugs were the last thing that came to mind when my wife and I were going through her things just 3 day's after she passed. Somewhere deep within I made a pact without knowing it at the time. I was going to make my mom proud, and using drugs wasn't part of it. Since then I have not touched drugs and have did nothing but make my mom proud. I went through college and graduated with honors and now I'm in the field of helping people with substance use disorders and mental health disorders. RIP Momz! I'll continue to make you proud!
