That’s awesome! I forget how much fun T-Ball is. If he loves watching at that age then there’s a good chance he’ll have a high baseball IQ. That IQ is what sets the best players apart from the rest!
@@PaulAnthonyBaseball yes he could be outside playing baseball all day long or even be watching older kids play… He just loves the game. When we’re at the ballfield for tournaments he would rather go watch the big kids then hang out with his friends.
That's a really good hitting team. They are obviously a young group, but watching them throw their hands at an outside pitch and go with it to RF is great discipline and practice. Even saw one kid drop his shoulder forward to force a ground ball. If the coaches read this, keep doing what you are doing. Nice job.
People at my PE class don't even move or run, it gets depressing after a while, I'm always glad to see people take sports seriously while at the same time having fun
I have a 9 year old who is doing very well in his normal little league this year. It has definitely crossed my mind to do travel ball. I think we are going to hold off so he can keep working basketball too.
@@dougp7934 I totally get that. Most of us on this team are trying to make sure our kids have a shot at playing high school ball... and maybe more. It is tough to make some of these high school teams. And it’s easy to fall behind nowadays if you aren’t playing travel. Same with basketball I think. But some kids don’t necessarily need travel at an early age. Some do to have a chance. But the kids really have to want to do it or it won’t be a great experience!
@@PaulAnthonyBaseball it makes sense I guess. We’ve been doing extra batting lessons, which have really paid off. Will probably start some defensive lessons too. I’m hoping that will get us through to see what he wants to be serious about come age 13!
