I am really glad Jin Joo Lee is finally getting her due with DNCE. Out of all of them, even though Joe Jonas is known better, she is more accomplished. She taught herself to play in her family's band by age 12. She move to LA at 19 to learn English and go to school at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood. She has performed with JoJo, the Jonas Brothers, Charli XCX, Jordin Sparks, and CeeLo Green's all-female backing band, Scarlet Fever all in just two years. Now she is the lead guitarist for DNCE and has had incredible exposure from their huge hit "Cake by the Ocean" written by the Swedish duo Mattman & Robin (who are also huge writing and producing hits for Gwen Stefani, Brittney Spears, Selena Gomes (Hands to Yourself for example) and many others. She worked really hard to get where she is now and deserves the accolades she is receiving. The whole band is really good but she had to work much harder to get where she is now.
