Nice review! Would have liked to see what the bottom of the cook topper looks like for cleaning purposes. I have a Ninja Speedi (love it) and the top has a coil burner with fan behind it. Grease and oil gets behind the burner and it’s very difficult to clean. Thinking about getting this Crispi 😁
@@Zeusfamilyreviewsyou’re welcome. I only know because I ordered the gray one and it’s currently sitting in the kitchen while I already placed an order for the other one with the Bake feature. Haha
@@Zeusfamilyreviewshow hot does the bottom of it get? I’m trying to decide where to set it? My microwave & countertop oven/airfryer sits on a wood table with a piece of tempered glass on it
@@hadley407 how hot does the bottom get while in use? Not too hot, it has the food, then the crisper plate, then the thick glass. The manual says not to place it near a microwave, etc though.
@@Zeusfamilyreviews thank you for your response. I didn’t see that part about the microwave. I really appreciate your info. I think this is gonna be a really cool little appliance.
Just got mines in the mail today! Very compact, portable and easy to store! I have a regular but I’m out of town for the next 3-4 months and I need an air fryer and I can take to our upcoming potluck holidays parties
@@antoninho1997 yes you are right, it probably just depends on what it is. I did some mozzarella sticks and did not need extra oil. I can do another video testing it out 😊
I don’t add extra oil to anything I air fry for us. It always comes out really good and crispy. I think chicken bites, appetizers, tots, fries, etc they all have enough oil built into them
I agree that those frozen fried foods already have a hefty amount of oil and don’t need more added!! In fact, although I’m fascinated by air fryers, I’ve so far resisted the urge to buy one because I’d be tempted to buy all those greasy yummy foods!
I like it better than a standard big air fryer because it’s heating up a smaller space so everything actually gets crispy. Some big air fryer’s I’ve used only get a little crispy. This one works amazing well and the 4qt dish holds quite a bit of food. And the Crispi is a lot smaller and portable unlike a big air fryer. Hope that helps 😊
All Ninja products are very poor. They are uncleanable, they have a very short lifespan, and they are priced very badly. There is no Ninja item that you should buy.

My Crispi is being delivered this morning. I'm excited about it. I hear the included recipes are very good.
Oh that’s so exciting! Yes the recipe booklet is great, tons of ideas and guidelines 😊

Great suggestion! I’ll add it to my next video 😊
What about battered items like fish?
Great review. Subscribed :)
Awesome, thank you!
The light gray one doesn’t have the bake feature. That’s the difference. It’s not just because it’s purchased somewhere different.
Oh good to know, thank you for sharing!

Where did you get your oil sprayer?
On Amazon. Link is in the description. It sprays and pours. I love it!
where would i get a glass oil sprayer like yours?

I think most frozen pre fried food don’t need extra oil. Tell me if I’m wrong, you could do a comparison video

Hi, does this give off a chemical smell?
No, but I did run it for a few minutes with nothing in it before cooking anything 😊
Shouldn't there be a temperature setting?

Instead of using a non stick basket you're using glass much safer plus you can use it to put your leftovers away
@@81Garret you can do that with a air fryer also. I think ninja is pushing it. I have their big air fryer with two sides and love it
@@p.sherman3158 You can turn a non-stick basket into glass? That's a new one on me. You would store your food in your refrigerator in that basket? Ok
@@81Garret you can put any vessel into an air fryer. I do it all the time
She didn't season her chicken
Lolol what? The food going in her body. Why does it matter to you how she likes her food?
Lol
Ninja still can not get food to cook evenly. Years of inventing machines that are never as good as advertised.

My experience is very different than yours. All of my Ninja products are great
@DeansMayhem Hello. That is good to hear. They hard to clean
