Thanks for this beautiful video. That is really a lovely region. It deserves more attention from the traveler than it usually gets, despite being on the Cape's doorstep. It has a lot of scenic beauty and special charm which comes through in this video. I would love to return there again sometime.
Fantastic as always Joe .. what a beautiful country. So much to see and explore ! Nature’s wonders never seem to be boring . A beautiful planet we share this all with! Thanks again for a fantastic episode ! 👍👍👏👏👏
Wow that says a lot, if you think this area is the tops! Gone a long time now, I miss not having seen places like this. Thanks for allowing me to at least enjoy it with you. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful work, Joe, I'm so privileged to be part of this wonderful place. I need to take more advantage of these places with my camera. Thank you for sharing!
The King Protea is definitely South Africa's national flower!! As far as my knowledge stretches the Strelizia is more a garden flower, named after the Countess von Strelitz!!
Lovely photography of a beautiful part of the Cape. For many years mu family had a holiday house in Betty's Bay (as close as you could legally get to the rocks and crashing waves beyond). Just one thing, though... when did the Protea become the national flower? I get that it is indigenous to SA and, perhaps, the most likely guess in a quiz, but the actual national flower has always been the Strelitzia as far as I know. No?
Mark. The king protea is much more celebrated as the national flower. And the reason is clear in the sports teams preferring the protea. Theres many other reasons I call it the national flower but seeing both protea and strelitzia are the national flowers you can claim your 50% of the “whos right” prize
Wonderful pictures and nice music! Thank you for the dream 😊
What a privilege to travel with you through my favourite places, be it on TH-cam 😉
