Lalang’s final kick seemed to come out of nowhere! Amazing talent
My classmate and a close friend. Congratulations Lalang,
Imagine seeing anyone running a 3:54 in a championship race nowadays
Andrew Lipton Grant fisher ran 3:53 this past indoor NCAA championships
Yeah, but that was only because he had to run fast to get stanford back in the race. For perspective Beamish ran a 4:07 to win the mile last year
@@andrewlipton664 I was just saying that because you said "imagine seeing", simple as that
Payden Lewis I believe it’s just referring to the mile event, not DMR
funny you say that now that 75 collegiate athletes have broken 4 and good few under 3:54
thanks for the uploads!
1:58 through 800 somehow breaks an elite field. In what world lol.
was surprising. dude who came in second shoulda went with him
let us watch old ncaa champs
ryan hill tho
When the playing field of life is even.
was this also a collegiate record?
2:34 Mr. All Everything?
Why do the announcers insist on using yards?
Shadow Grandmaster They’re American and way back in the day yards were the common measurement for races I.E. the 880 440 dash etc it’s equivalent to 402 meters if my math is right and it’s more of “tradition” that surrounds the mile as well
Bryan Ryder Thank you. That makes sense.
Shadow Grandmaster they use meters for 1600 meters but use yards since it’s a full mile
For basically every race they use meters and the announcers would announce the race in meters. But this is a 1-mile race, so they're using yards. Really the only event they'd do it for.
ugh, tell us the top 8, not the top 3
