For aligning the calipers against the discs, I normally use the same trick as with bikes: loosen the calipers and apply brakes so that these grab the disc. Then while keeping pressure on the brakes, tighten the screws again. Normally as long as the pads are not too irregularly worn, this results in very good alignment, as each of the two pistons will retract approximately the same distance from the disc.
@@PirateWasHere humm because of poorly built frames sometimes (and the respective brake caliper mounts)? In my case it works well with the Laotie Ti30.
what causes bent disc brake??? i have some scraping sounds and stuff once my scooter is rolling and i dont press down on throttle and just let go of throttle but the sound is similar... mines sounds like a whooshing sound like wind is coming in or through my wheels lol.@@PirateWasHere
@@PirateWasHere how to adjust laotie ti30 scooter hydraulic brakes? when i press down the brake levers it looks like it is about to touch the handle bars. Please make a video on that if you can??? ty brother!
Thank you so much my friend! My friend tried fixing my brakes and ended up putting the calliper in a bendt way so my brakes got fucked and turned gay. Thanks to you I can now finally fix my breaks! I love you bro
Caliper adjustment is easier just lose screws and push break leather and tight screws👍. It goes automatically straight. But yeah awesome video again mate!
The problem is that the calipers are not positioned correctly ex works and the disc pulls inwards when braking. I solved the problem by loosening the two screws on the brake caliper, then pressing the brake and tightening the screws again at the same time. Then the brake caliper is aligned exactly with the disc.
Hey have you had to change a tire on that thing yet, I'm about too on mine, not sure how to pull the rim apart.. might need a bearing puller.. just to pull it straight. I'm going to a semi off road hopefully smooth me out a lil.
The thing about these types of scooters is that you can't find brake pads for the dual motor scooter you buy on ebay. Only some name brand scooters the brake pads are available for. So if you buy a non branded dual motor scooter on ebay or other sites have fun trying to find replacement brake pads for them because they're not all the same fitment when it comes to brake pads
Nice video. Helped alot! However, wish i saw this before i disconnected the wire to screw it together on my bench. Liquid leaked and now the brake dont work. How to fix this? 😱🙈
Is there a way to flip the brakes on that Boyueda (move mounts on the left side swingarm)? and perhaps change wheel turn direction as well? I want to use a MTB brake system especially 4 piston ones.
Your scooter has a massive amount of inertia, I just got the G3 Pro and I checked if the pads are rubbing against the disc rotor and nothing but, after giving it the throttle it stops spinning in a second or two not like yours where it kept going and going until you had to stop it by hand.
Need help please.. I put my new brake pads in perfectly but they keep scraping on the disc ive adjusted the caliper in every way and stil cant find a solution
My brake disc is bent and I want to replace it, but my disassembly revealed no way to disconnect the power cable... It's all shrink wrapped! There HAS to be an easier way to replace this small part!
Can someone help me because my scooter is dual motor and the front one is like stopping but completely but it’s stopping and I know it’s not the brakes
hi, i have kugoo s3 pro, long time ago my battery catched on fire, so i put hoverboard battery just so i can drive before i buy new battery, everything worked fine, so i bought 36v battery for e bike, now i put it, shows 33.5v and when i want to brake voltage starts coming up to 41v and it wont brake, only brakes when it passes 40v, my brake is electronic, not on pads, what should i do please help
On my 11x, I took it to get serviced and get a tyre changed and now its fucking worse that when I dropped it off to them. They've re-assembled the brake units in such a way that the actual brake unit is scraping on the actual wheel rim (not the brake disc). So front and back wheel rims are both scraping against the brake units and making a horrible noise. How do I adjust so the actual unit moves further away from the wheel rim? Needless to say I'm extremely unhappy with the service shop
Why are you bending it next to the brake caliper You have to do it in the bottom turn it all the way down. Because the top is bending next to the brake caliper. This will take long but my way is faster

Great idea, but it doesnt work well with Escoots 🍕🍻

Thank you! Just got my boyueda and this thing RIPS! Riding in California I’m 200lbs and it hits 50 easy! Brakes were making noise not anymore!

Great video ! I used just my hands to straight the discs - with gloves. Your technique is simplest and easiest !!

@@PirateWasHere thanks a million. This helped🥳
How do you tighten that type of brake?
The easiest way is to use an erasable marker to paint the disc and see where it rubs :)
I did the bend things. Every things is smooth. Untill i hit the break. After that every things start to rub again. Any tips?
3:59 thanks fixt my scooter top guy
Where i Found the Brake disc i dont find it can you send me link from the disc and the Pads? Thx for the Videos i bye laotie ti 30 and its crazy
Great video however if you done everything in reverse order it would have been a bit better

What brake pads use?
Did you change controllers? Because you can't disable motor braking

Did you get it right? Same problem
The brakes pad are iqual to Jano bike t85? Btw nice work thks
Yes could, be the same. Remove old ones and check if looks the same
The wheel bearing makes a noise can I have it repped
Hi do you have the measurement of the brake pads for the ti 30 please
those are simple MTB pads, just take old one to shope and but the same ones
What's the size of your brake disc?
Can you please tell me what break pads thoses are called and a link
Cheers m8

pads not moving same as other pads. how adjust without bleeding oil
Please say the same but different way
Nobody makes a tutorial about how to fix soft brakes or unractive brakes
Can someone help me because my scooter is dual motor and the front one is like stopping but completely but it’s stopping and I know it’s not the brakes
Can you bleed these brakes? If so would you show us pls?

if You got that big voltage spike from 33 to 41 when brake ( recharging ) then battery is heavly damaged or you got wrong settings in controller.
@@PirateWasHere thanks bro
what scooter is this?
awesome~~

as U can see in the video, if there is any space between brake caliper and frame try to remove and rearrange brake caliper
mm no disco?
