Adley switching sides then hitting all but one of those pitches out is easily my favorite HRD moment ever. Came from my favorite player too, dude is indescribably talented lmao.
He hit the the furthest homeruns too. 484 feet he probably wins this derby if his pitcher threw the ball in a consistent spot. The guy is an absolute freak. If you had these guys race he would have smoked them also. He regularly goes over 30 feet per second.
@@blankname6629He shows no emotion no care no hustle for the game. He’s fast but he doesn’t run out ground balls. Just seems like he never cares about the game
As a white Sox fan, I've been seeing Lu Bob hit opposite field dingers with a half swing these past 3 years. Absolutely bewildered how someone can be so strong to all fields without even trying.
You should feel bad for Robert jr. He was getting slighted the whole derby. When they brought him out the on field announcer said he had hit 24 homers in the first half. He has 26. He was offered little encouragement outside of Jorge soler. He was hitting homers that were an extra 25 to 35 feet longer than everyone else with almost no coverage of that.

Same
Luis Robert has the most nonchalant power looks like he’s not even trying
Was gonna say the same thing. Easy swing but solid contacts
😂 could not agree more!!!
Told my daughter a very similar thing

you can say that about the entire team, They don't even try

The switch hit in a home run derby is a classic that’s impressive 💯
I was rooting for Adley to win the HR Derby but Robert did a good job of coming back. Good luck to Robert in the rest of the Derby
Biggest difference was the pace of the pitchers. Adley got 45 swings off. Robert got 60 in 20 less seconds.
will probably be the only good thing i see from this team this season as a sox fan
Agreed
I share your pain. And I live right by the stadium so I have to be disappointed every time I'm on 35th
Dont they gonna turn things around 😁👍
the world finally met luis robert and im so happy for dude
Impressive by both! As a sox fan I am proud of our guy to be up there! Go Sox!
3:51 badassss!!! He literally switched it up!
As a white sox fun, it was fun to see Luis Robert in the derby. Todd Frazier was our last contender. He’s having an amazing year.
White Sox never get any love but Luis Robert Jr is a star ⭐️ & im glad some people got to see it finally
Adley was just living, never really thought much of the derby but that was a great show...Let's Go O's..
That was awesome!
Use this as a: switch hitting requires TWICE as much talent thus derby points should be DOUBLE for players that flip around for the bonus time
I feel like if his dad shortened the motion on his pitches Adley woulda had a shot at 30 at least
Yeah dad was abysmal

Robert doesn't even look like he's swinging 😊
Robert is a force but Adley is Love.
This is a shot in the dark but what’s that song called Robert was hitting to?
Adley!!!! That was epic!!!
The announcers really didn’t like Robert huh
GO SOX! ⚾
@MLB I feel bad for Rutchmans, they worked together and Adley was talking to his dad. Then Robert Jr. Came...
