How can I believe in a God, when I find the idea of a deity absurd and childish
Science can't even figure out how the human consciousness started ? All in the brain and neurons vains in us. And what no entity and God ? An alien made us nothing big bang
@@MelissaHurley1994 Respectfully, Science has figured it out long ago. Just because you haven't studied the origins and evolution of life on earth doesn't mean millions of other people haven't devoted their entire lives to disciplined scientific research into all of these matters. The earliest life on earth is everywhere I live in Missouri; I can show you stromatilites that are almost a billion years old. But you can't show me one bit of evidence of an invisible god. I'm not trying to insult; it's just I've been down the God road for 50 years and it dissolved away with a little bit of scrutiny.
MrB. Perhaps try to see God/Universe/Source etc with the eyes and mind of an adult and not a child. I think it’s easiest in the simplest form to feel that there is something greater than you are out there in the world. Let go of the ego. Good luck my friend.
