Especially as we get closer and closer to these all new fully electric vehicles that seem to have lost soul in what truly makes driving fun it just makes it all the more special. I agree with you 100% on that one, its old, crude, full of road noise and the build quality may not be as good as a modern car but no modern car will ever make you feel as connected to the driving and as feel as special as these old cars, new cars just feel too mass produced and like a throw away item i think anyway.

A proper class restoration. Claying always amazes customers even on brand new cars. They are shocked when you show them embedded contamination. The Subaru looks amazing. The Bilt Hamber rust removal and protection is the best in the World.
General tip, coming from the food industry, you wash from the top down. That makes life so much easier for you in the end. :) I love your content and keep making people happy.
My dad bought the first Subaru when it came to the states. And after that I fell in love with them. And this restoration is how I would build my Subaru. Love your editing. Thank you for the videos

I'll admit, I was never an Impreza fan, even though I loved watching McRae and his flat out rally driving antics. As a road car, it just left me a bit cold, and felt it was a bit cheap, and had a chavvy image problem. But now they are over 2 decades old, I'm really starting to appreciate them as classics. They are quite unique which is something I love, and the chav image is virtually gone as the chavved up ones have all exploded or rusted away. That leaves original, un-chavved, examples which are really quite nice.
I have to agree with you that the chavs ruined the image of these cars for a good few years but like you say those cars are all gone now and the chavs have moved on leaving the good ones to become proper classics.
I am amazed at the results you are able to achieve - and with quite modest tools and workshop. Awesome work and really inspiring. Really hope you are able to get your own lift one day. 100% earned and well deserved 👍🏻

First off, the video format was excellent, after so many videos relating to any one project, no need to drag it on and see every little detail. You've already established your credentials with all subscribers.., we all know how particular you are when it comes to repair, clean and detail. 👍👍 Having said that, many will agree...,this is probably one of the best restorations we've seen in a long time, very professional indeed, no short cuts.👏👏👏👏 A ramp is a necessity for all automotive work, here's hoping that you'll get one in the near future. I'm want to restore My Fiesta ST 150 in the summer, Exterior is great, But the underside is showing its age, I do all my own work, but its all on my drive way, I really wish i had a garage. These vids give a the confidence to get it done.
You can do it :) Yeah its tough and some of the angles you need to work at are a joke but once you sit back and see the results of your labor you'll be so glad :)

Finally! Been waiting a very long time to see her clean. I must admit, I have never seen that iron deposit cleaning/removal. I would think I would have heard of this in some form during my travels but I haven’t. Is it because of all the work around it as it sat or Scotland’s weather or? Again, that is one beautiful GC! If ya want to trade for a GD Bugeye running E85 and that is built for the track AND it wears a 2001 Monte Carlo livery, just let me know. We can work something out. Lol Thanks for the Subie content as always. My heart just sank as I need to clay my WRX. Been a few years and she needs a good detail on the outside. I’d drive/own that car over any super car or any modern day hot hatch etc. There’s no better sound and I know how much fun they are to drive. Great series.
I thought claying paint was kind of snake oil when i first read about it, but when i tried it, my paintwork went from feeling like sandpaper to feeling smooth as glass, really is worth the effort.
