    From my experience when market is sideways scalping is the best solution. When trending swing is advisable.

    I like to day trade and swing. Have an a personal account for both and copy those trades through to prop firms. I started out trading wanting a systematic swing trading system to cut my time down looking at screens. Now though I would describe myself as a discretionary price action day trader and a systematic swing trader. I have found the day trading has helped me choose better long term positions also.

    I think I'm fortunate to have a system where it works on shorter timeframes and higher ones with a 5 or 6 pip SL on lower on slower moving assets like AUD/USD as well as running a 9-12 pip stop loss if needed on more liquid assets without changing the TP targets but accepting a lower percentage returns. This is great insight though and gives me some great ideas if what im doing now isn't sustainable long term.

    I’ve done them all. I started out investing and holding long term then went to swing trading which I still do on occasion but I mostly scalp and hold 1-20 minutes or hold for several hours. It all depends on how long it takes to hit my target

    I learnt from your course and backtested it. I never identified as a scalper but my sl's are like 3-6 pips if it's more I don't do it 😂😂 but it works amazing. Catch one or 2 really good setups a week and that's it 6-10Rs. Low stress and high reward thanks a lot for the gem that is your course on whop!

    Tried all of them until I found what was suitable for me, and that was swing trading. Less chart time, more free time, less stress, higher win rate, consistency, no more revenge trading, and overall a pleasant experience.

    Good advice bro. Appreciated. For me, if you are a newbie trader. You need to spend so much time studying the chart, studying the economic data. Once you completely understand the market and you discover the strategy that fits your personality. I think, you can spend less time charting and let your phone receive a notification that your TP is successfully hit.

  • @iamjeremy4life

    I hate the term "break even." I always have my stops above BE and then just keep trailing my sl more it goes up. And you can still give the trade room to move doing this.

    Swing or day trading are the way to profitability most scalpers are just the plancton of this sea the liquidity for the price to move they work for hours and hours every day to move the price for us swing and day traders while we rest amotionally and stress free letting our trades get moved by them to our TP.

    • @iamjeremy4life

      @@iamjeremy4life In what moment did I say scalping doens't work, I scalp every now and then but as I said and repeat they are the plancton they have a harder life almost like a 9 to 5 with an strict schedule is more stressing and emotionaly draining and also can't lie is harder to be profitable as an scalper than as a day trader or swing trader 95 % plus of scalpers lose money is easyer to make mistakes when you are trading hight pace and watching the trade from the moment you open it till you close it is recipy for disaster

      @iamjeremy4life why don't people just say, scalping doesn't work for me (I can't scalp) , if you're in and out before session rolls over it improve
      your chances of winning if you scalp, most people's issue with scalping is getting a scalp entry and holding for a 6 month external range exit 🤣🤣🤣

    • @mikedecem
      @mikedecem 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      if you think scalpers are moving market you are delusional on highest level. Just think what you said again. Plancton is riding the waves, not creating them.

    • @VictorAlfonsoTrades
      @VictorAlfonsoTrades 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both day trading and swing trading are good options depending on what you look for, swing trading is amazing for the typical trader life style on the beach on vacations etc cuz you for sure don't have to be glued to the screen you can watch and manage your trades every couple days and some times not even that.

    • @hakshustletv
      @hakshustletv 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@VictorAlfonsoTrades I believe both can be great, scalping can be more profitable, however, both forms should be governed by the HTF. Even if you're a scalper, to be truly profitable in the long run, your trading must be governed by what's going on when you look at the 4hr, Daily etc... Pro-trend or pullback. Get that part right (market structure) and that's most of the work done.
