Lean Coil Pallet Removal - Frustration Free (with Voiceover)

In our panel and trim department we tip 8,000 to 10,000 lb coils as a part of the process. One struggle we have is the pallets get pinched between the coil and the coil up-ender preventing us from being able to pick the coil up with our overhead crane.
Up to now we have used a process of forcing the pallets out with a forklift and a strap.
Our team got together and tried several theories that did NOT work. But, each failed attempt provided us with knowledge that got us one step closer to a very SIMPLE solution!
