Agreed, I wouldn’t put vacuum cleaner parts in the dishwasher I clean my dishes with. That’s gross. Get a cheap unit dedicated for cleaning vacuum parts.

I have a question for you, sell through rate is obviously one of the most important things on an eBay store. I specialize in selling mostly car parts, which take time to sell . Make, model, year etc. What's worked really well for me is ending and selling similar, changing title, item specifics, and sometimes pictures. Do you think this helps your stores sell through rate if it's a new listing? It's proven to work for me I was just curious of your thoughts. Selling since 2018, profiting about $2500 a month hoping to go full time soon. Mechanic by trade so I'm knowledgeable in the field.
New listings def help the store. It won’t help the actual STR though because only sales help that. What it does do is give you “activity”.
Now ending and selling similar must have significant changes for it to be considered “new” by the algorithm. Like changing pics like you said. Pics carry information as well.
Of course this is all hearsay because no one really knows how the algorithm works except eBay. Just my thoughts based on years of experience and lots of testing. Thx for watching! 🤠🇺🇸✌🏼

Damian can you please share the process of adjusting the shipping fees when you sell multiple items. I’ve been selling on eBay for about 7 months and have not had to deal with this but when it happens I’d like to have a idea what I need to do. Thanks in advance.
I’m not sure if I will do a video on this but this is how it works. If they go thru entire buying process and it says paid and ship now on your end then all you can do is send a partial refund.
If the transaction says awaiting payment then you can click the drop down and send an invoice with the adjusted amts. Hope that helps. Thx for watching! 🤠🇺🇸✌🏼

Do you ever source at the Amazon return/liquidation/bin stores? There's a ton of them in the San Antonio area, I've noticed. The Austin area only has one and its pretty pathetic. Austin does have several warehouse stores that call themselves "thrift" stores but are actually where the junk haul-off companies flip the stuff that their customers think was taken to the dump. What's your sourcing strategy on these "non-traditional" types of discount stores?
I do source sometimes from bin stores, but the issue is that i have found lots of counterfeits and since most of the time you're selling them new it can be a problem. I can talk some about the strategy during next mondays what sold video. Thx for watching! 🤠🇺🇸✌🏼
Half the electronics I've sold have been returned. Honestly. If it's NOT packaged, I don't buy appliances and electronics. Then also - look at the reviews. I've bought stuff and the reviews were terrible.
$23 for promo ad is 1/2 what you got for the guitar. TOOOO MUCH.
