PROTEST AGAINST ALLEGED LAND ENCROACHMENT BY ABDUL KAYUM TALUKDAR ON TEA ESTATE LAND

Tea estate workers and women members of Ganesh temple of Lahorijan, Karbi Anglong held a protest in Lahorijan against the alleged land encroachment which belongs to Lahorijan Tea Estate by Abdul Qayum Talukdar. It is to be noted that the Lahorijan Tea Estate is in Assam's Karbi Anglong district which shares a border with Nagaland. The protest was supported by All India Karbi Anglong Students Union with more than a hundred protesters gathered shouting slogans of ‘Abdul Qayum Talukdar Go Back’, ‘Arrest Abdul Qayum’, ‘Abdul Qayum Talukdar Murdabad’ and ‘We want Justice
