Why so many side stories, it's kind of a let down. When yo think you have waited 2 years to see Polin finally find each other to see Colin just being angry at Penelope. No love connection, what a waste of talent for perfect actors 😭
We are focusing on Pen and Colin this season... and yeah we balance 25+ regular characters... it's overwhelming at times. There was absolutely no reason to have so many plotlines, we wanted to see Pen and Colin not whatever all that stuf with the the Mondriches was for example. Most of all I don't like how little we got to see them be happy. Every other season had a honeymoon montage, why did we have them be anxious and angry with eachother up until the last 15 minutes of the last episode.
"We're focussing on Pen and Colin. We're really leaning into romantic comedy tropes. So you're going to see a lot of humour, a sense of familiarity, a lot of playfulness..." Where? Part 1 of Season 3, yes. Part 2? We barely got an update if they still even existed and everytime it was "Nope, Colin is still angry." until the very late hours of episode 8. I think we understand certain words véry differently. Like... 'focussing'?
Bring back Chris. If you want to introduce LGBTQ+ then please do a spin off of Reynolds and Brimsley. Their relationship was so beautiful. Because they are not in the books, you can take creative liberties with them in the way you do with Queen Charlotte and this will not piss off the fans of the books. In season 3 it was very dense. There were far too many sub plots which detracted from the main couple. then when we did got the main couple there was really only two episodes of them smitten before it was nothing but betrayal and anger. The romance was overtaken by lady Whistledown conflict and for a Polin season there was not much Polin. Also I thought there was too much Francesca too prematurely. We still have Benedict and Elouise to go yet. In past seasons the queen had her focus on the main characters but this season she was focussed on Francesca. Polin almost felt like a sub plot to Francesca. Jess B really dropped the ball on this season. What I did see of Polins romance was beautiful and I applaud the actors. they did a great job, just I think Shonda, Jess B and the writers need to seriously think about season 4. keep true to Benedict's character. make sure Sophie is not Stephen and don't explore the bi-sexuality too much because ultimately this is a straight erotica and Sophie is the love of his life. Sophie needs to be in at least 8 out of the 8 episodes ok
Suddenly romcom when it's Penelope's season? How interesting. So let's make it a clown show for the chubby girl because she doesn't deserve a romance like season 1 & 2 and the Queen Charlotte spinoff.
Sorry but if you want support from the straight community and allyship, then turning a beloved straight character into a lesbian is absolutely not it. What the queer community deserves is an absolutely beautiful bridgerton spin off story like queen charlotte. They don't deserve straight characters being written as gay. That's poor writing. There's still time. Reintroduce michael sterling. Make him a twin or something with Michaela. And maybe add a spinoff lesbian Michaela story with Cressida or someone..........
I'm straight and love the twist, don't know what "straight community" are you talking about. I guess you mean the conservative books fans and I think it's pretty clear the Tv Show isn't catering to those.
i love the bridgerton series, but i think i will stop watching it if the character of michael stirling is going to be replace by michaela in the next season.
This is horrible, disgusting what they want to do with the series, those of us who watch Bridgerton want to see the couples from the book, no one wants to see woke things!!! Francesca's story is beautiful and they want to ruin it, I don't think they're forcing inclusion into this series because those of us who watch it are more conservative, and that's exactly why we watch it. We want to see the romance described in the books, and look, it's okay to take some liberties, but not gender changes to the characters and even less to the protagonists, there are people who know the stories in the books and their decisions completely affect the final product .
The books are bad on many levels. If anything the tv show is actually rescuing those books and breathing new air onto its pages. And yes, gladly the rest of the world is ready to see queer romance in Regency costumes and conservative environments, why? Because it's always been there.

This is how you kill a franchise.
Romcom trope this season she says. Is the romcom in the room with us? Because it didn't give that. It gave MESS.
Bring Chris Back!
This B... rownell woman ruined the show 😡
We want to watch Bridgerton NOT Brownellton
This season was a mess.

This lady genuinely ruined season 3 and perhaps all future seasons if she remains the show runner. Bring Chris and his magic back!!!!!

go read the books then yall book fans ruin the show and the books aren’t even anything special 🥱
@@i12koodidn't know the fans wrote the script and edited the show 😂

@@chatnoir60609 Poor thing, you are so brainwashed that it already seems normal to you. :(
You ruined the show
