Tip from an Italian: Put salt in after the water in already boiling. Common misconception is that is putting the salt in early will boil it faster, but it doesn’t do much. If you put salt in after it’s already boiling it will stop the temperature from continuing to rise so you can cook the pasta to perfection!
I never salt my water and my pasta ALWAYS comes out perfect ^.^ I feel like it’s pointless to add salt lol. My friend salts her water and so does my mom but I’ve never noticed a difference lol.

I’m so proud of you!!!! It’s not easy doing things like this especially in the busy city of ny! I take solo weekend trips in ny at least once a month since I live in jersey about 30 mins away. It has been GREAT for my social anxiety and honestly just learning to be alone and enjoying my own company as well as strangers. I recently lost a couple friends what were my “going out” group and I was broken about it for months. But I think it really reset my priorities, forced me to depend on myself, and made me truly enjoy my company as I think I was trying to convince myself to do so before. I recently took myself out to dinner and went to a jazz club after! It was so fun to just be alone, not be held back by what others wanted to do, and to just enjoy my surroundings, have conversations with strangers, and to strangely fall back in love with myself and what I can offer myself instead of depending on everyone else to bring me joy.
I was telling my bf how I want to go to Hao Noodle after watching the last vlog and he asked me what kind of noodles they have. Then I realized that Steph mainly showed us appetizers and mushrooms and stuff 😂😂😂
To anyone who is thinking about reading A Little Life, please please please look at the trigger warnings. I am not a sad or mentally unhealthy person at all but I was depressed for a week after reading that book. I just always feel compelled to warn people. It is not just a sad book, it is a devastating book. It is gorgeously written but please check the trigger warning before reading it.

might be a lil late now but i was struggling of doing errands (or just going out) by myself for the past couple of months and seeing u do this makes me happy and encourages me to do it more !! sometimes its terrifying to do something out of ur comfort zone (especially we have anxiety), but it feels satisfying and u feel proud of urself when its finally done. im so glad that u were still able to enjoy ur time by urself

And was roaming around for like 2/3 hours and bought the book Verity on recommendation of your other subscribers and the book Circe! I loved your video on that book. So I bought that book too. I used to be so scared of going out by myself. Like people are gonna think I'm weird they're gonna think I'm a loser. But in reality people don't give a ish about you. It's really all in your head. And it's good practice for my anxiety.
