This is a brilliant video for newbies! I’m trying to learn investing so I can start. So here I am binging your content 😊 I have 2 questions if you have the time. 1- How much would you recommend to start with monthly as a beginner? And what would be the average amount someone should invest in a month do you think to get good returns? 2- Are you able to withdraw all of this money at any point in time if it’s a ISA?
Thanks for watching and for the kind words! 1 - really with whatever you feel comfortable with/with how much you can afford. I started with £100pm on Vanguard a number of years ago. Of course, the more you can start with the quicker your portfolio size will grow, but starting small can help to build a good habit and get you used to the volatile nature of the stock market. 2 - yes, can withdraw whenever you like tax free. Hope this helps!
Also , for long term investors is it better to opt for Accumulation or Income?
Generally speaking - accumulation. As that means all dividends will be automatically reinvested back into the fund
Hi there, can you please confirm if FTSE Global All Cap Accumulation can be found in Equity funds (55)?
Hey Anna, yep that’s right!
