As a pistons fan, i 100% agree. The optics made him look unplayable as a starter. Greg monroe, Andre Drummond and Josh smith in the front court is damn near 6 players on the court😂😂 no spacing, even by the standards of those times
Josh was a head of the curve but didn’t have the consistent skill to be a 3 pt shooter. Honestly if he could’ve shot the 3 better when he began to take them…we would be talking about how he is the prototype for big wings today’s.
Him staying in Atlanta and more polished offensive skills would've made his career last longer. If playing today the floor would be more spread with all the 3s being shot with more driving lanes to the basket.
Nice j-smoove was a all star level player got to jump shot happy when he had a few big games I always Woodson held him back on the hawks still a good player couldn’t refined his game more as the game was changing still was a tough player in the 2010s
He was ahead of his time but I promise whenever he would take a 3 and you'd hear the whole Hawks crowd go "nooooooo" was hilarious 😂
J-Smoove, Joe, Horford, Crawford and Teague was my fav team
The Hawks team, which included Josh Smith, Al Horford, and Jeff Teague, was fun to watch.
Don't forget Joe Johnson and Crawford as the 6th man
@@miguelbraz2629 How could I forget Iso Joe and Jamal Crawford.
@@Billy-ot8mk and Zaza Pachulia ahah
J Smoove was my favorite player when I started watching Nba. Also my favorite nickname for a hooper
If he didn't go to the Pistons I think he would've been a starter for a few more years then he was.

Been waiting for this one I used Josh Smith alot
J Smooth of the Highlight Factory!!!! Great video 😂😂😂😂
Grew up watching Josh Smith live in ATL. The crowd was so hard on him. I think he lost his confidence at the line and stopped attacking.
At one point in the mid-2000s, Josh Smith was a rising young star.
Josh Smith never became a superstar player.
Still, he was a very good Role Player.
Poor Man Lebron 🗣️🔥
Thank you 😊

Greatest dunker in Hawks history not named Dominique Wilkins

He was such a fun player to watch. He took way too many threes though, which was not his strength at all.
A great inside force that couldn’t shoot the three ball
Going to the pistons in that era of Pistons basketball basically killed your career
He was only good for fantasy teams, not his real ones.
Somebody should have told you he was garbage.
