@Zlambert99 I have not had to do much on those engines yet… Access is very tight though so I would be very tempted to remove the cab. A lot of stuff has to come apart to remove it out the front.
@Zlambert99 check out my cab removal tips video. The cab is actually not that bad to remove. Cab Removal Tips - 3.0L Duramax LM2 P0016 Timing Chain PART TWO th-cam.com/video/bIXg9XYX6Bk/w-d-xo.html
Nice to see disassembly in vehicle like I remember when I use to do in the old days. Makes me want to tear down the Ford fe360.
In vehicle repairs are becoming rare.
Thanks.
Great slide show
Thanks again.
ahh the holden motor strikes again!! nice in car
Yep! This is some lost footage from 2018 too! I’ve done several more since then.
The pistons seemed to be cheaply made is my observation….
Thanks!
Have you replaced a 2.7l engine? Do you have to remove the cab to or tear the front end apart? Thanks
What year make and model?
Thanks.
2021 Gmc sierra 1500 2.7l. Has metal in it. The clyinder 2 rocker arm bearings came out and went thru out the motor.

Ok. Yeah when I replace the 5.3l and 6.2 on the 2019 and newer engines I take the front end apart.
