I'm currently crafting a D&D campaign based on Ixalan This video has helped me a lot to better understand the plane and their inhabitants, thank you so much
YEAH LORE, PURE LORE, none of the shenanigans of other channels. A good voice, well a thought out script to deliver as much lore as possible. Congrats man, you have earned one more subscriber.
Just to add, the plane will be revisited in the upcoming Lost Caverns of Ixalan set where it is revealed that Ixalan is a Dyson Sphere and the interior of the world is hollow and used to be ruled by an advanced civilization. Lots of inspiration from themes like lost city of Atlantis, Journey to the centre of the Earth, Dias de los Muertos, Mayan and Aztec underworld and mythology, etc.
Should we ever return to ixalan, I'm hoping that we get to see the humans (pirates and sun empire) fight the vampires for control of the continent with the merfolk doing whatever they can to stay out of it
Superb work! Please make more Plane Explained videos, worldbuilding is my favorite subject from MTG lore. PS: my favorite planes are Ravnica and Zendikar (no order) so I would love to see one day Plane Explained about them :)
Well, given that the next set is set in Zendikar, i assume getting a bit of information on that one is a given, Aside from the ones that were suggested, I say Alara.
Wait, after hearing how the Immortal Sun was made, and was the key tool for Ugin to use against Nicol Bolas, did Ugin or Azor ever explained how they would get the Planewalking nullifying artifact out of there? Or was Ugin just gonna open a portal to Ixalan and throw Bolas in there?
So why was Azor punished by Jace? All the guy did was make sure that his artifact was protected and not misused. He did not manipulate nor became a tyrant but was waiting for a signal that never came. How was that worthy of punishment?
Zacama should take over and protect Ixalan from the asshole vampires and other humanoids. Zacama should turn Gishath and the Avatars into commanders of the most powerful dino pack-army ever. Etali, Ghalta, Zetalpa, Nezahal and Tetzimoc would be other commanders in Zacama's packs, each leading a mono-color dino army.
whoah this channel is super underrated, i thought it would have at least a few thousand subs...
Ixalan was sooooo underrated! I will remember its glory until the story returns there.
This. This is the lore content I have been starving for. Please keep going!

I've been running an Ixalan inspired campaign myself! Haha. High and Dry was a favorite. Gotta love pirate cities.
Ive thinking of doing the same. Its such a good setting for a campaign.

Please do a series on Innistrad. These are amazing. I like the passion echoing in your voice. Excellent work!
This was exciting for Ixalan and love Vampires, + dinosaurs, & keep pushing forward awesome video
More of these. Your channel is amazing.

I think a massive confrontation on Torrezon could definitely be in the plane's future. And maybe Elenda's restructuring of the vampire order
I miss ixalan, I really hope we get a return
Dinosaurs
Congrats two years later and will be going back in December
We need more dinosaurs
Great video dude! Really clean and easy to follow, keep it up.
I think it would be wicked cool if we were to revisit Ixalan to pick up on a war between the Sun Empire and Torrezon!
My guess is that their conflict will be the centerpiece if they do go back to Ixalan. Makes me super excited!
Incredible video, I learned so much about my favourite plane that I never knew, thanks so much! Subbed and looking forward to future vids
Thanks, glad you liked it!

I'll be doing Zendikar in the near future, probably timed with the release of the new set.
really awesome, i enjoyed every part of it , ty
So glad to hear
This is my favorite plane! Great video (:
Glad you enjoyed
Great job, especially the early history!

You should do Amonkhet, Kaladesh, and the war of the spark series that would be a great tie in
Wow 👏
I agree great content would love to see more more more
Can you do an updated video with the new lore? I really love these videos!
Phyrexia pls :)

Looking forward to "lost cave of ixalan" set
I’m just wondering, since Elenda becomes the “first” vampire, is she technically a blood priest?
So why was Azor punished by Jace? All the guy did was make sure that his artifact was protected and not misused. He did not manipulate nor became a tyrant but was waiting for a signal that never came. How was that worthy of punishment?

Time to prox… I mean, buy all these cards and put together an ixalan-only deck!
Another vid on this?
Do Tarkir next
Appreciate the suggestion
Azor did nothing wrong
Suddendly, a pirate captain... because reasons
