It's lucky that you were obviously well served with drink before you attempted to sleep in that vehicle otherwise for sure you would have been lost. I subscribed after watching your painting video. Well done Vincent. You're doing well on the old salmon tally this season. Looks like a lovely place to catch them too. I've never had a Salmon from a loch, just the rivers. I bet they put up a great scrap. It looked freezing in that car during the night. I'd be too cramped sleeping in the driving seat. I'm too lanky. You should get one of those pop-up tents that go on top of your car on the roof rack. Camping luxury! April has been so cold up our neck of the woods. There's been a ground frost every day this week at our house. It needs to warm up a bit. The weather is crazy. March was beautiful here. Great to see you catching as always!
Thanks my friend. I'm getting old i think. I used be a hard man. One of my better experiences I've had while camping many many years ago when i had my motorbike. I put up my tent and got into my sleeping bag. Which was on the ground and fell asleep. Woke up next morning and it was dark went back to sleep kept waking up but it was dark and kept going back to sleep until eventually i just wanted to get up. When i came out of the tent i realised why it was dark. It had snowed very heavily during the night my tent was under two feet of snow and the sun was shining the sky was so blue. Ten minutes later i was cooking a beautiful trout on the fire. I had a worn casted into the lake during the night and it had caught me a beautiful trout. I will always remember that experience. If it was now i would have died. Hope you have a great season. Thanks my friend.

I remember years back having as far as I remember having 23 caught for the month of February. They were the good old days when there was plenty of salmon. Best of luck with your fishing it can only improve.

I'd usually catch over a hundred fish each year I'm not in the club anymore but that's another story. Hope you have a great year.

Hi Martin I think the best lure for brown trout is a brown trout a small brown trout rapala double sprocket one and if your trolling and having no luck speeden up slightly you might be giving the fish to much time to make up their minds plus the same rapala is deadly for salmon as well. You won't go wrong with a brown trout rapala.

I suppose if the rod is up vertical and a salmon jumps he will get slack like for a moment and if he shakes his head the hook could fall out. But if the rod down low and if jumps the bend in the rod will take the slack.🤔 I'm guessing. That's my theory makes sense. Cheers for watching.
