@@Vincentdonnelly5158 Thought I got it myself last week, but the test proved negative, appears a slight case of heat stroke which actually knocked me for six for 24 hours but right as rain now thanks to my Florence Nightingale wife….where would we be without our other halves. I’m sure Hilda is fussing and looking to see to it that your taking care of yourself, you may need to go on a course of vitamins and immune boosting supplements to get you ship shape and fighting fit. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I remember once sitting in a beautiful spot with a girl the tide was out the sun was going down and i was just enjoying the moment. She said to me "what are we doing here looking at all the mud" didn't see her again. LOL.
When the weather is good it's heaven when the weather's bad its an endurance test spending a weekend down there. It can break your heart and it can make all your dreams come true. That's waterville for you. A magical place.

Blood pressure is not good. That's what i love about waterville when your down there. You can just chill relax have a dram fall asleep on the bank no stress. Just peace and quite. You always feel recharged when you leave.

Looks like you had an absolutely amazing day out up there. I love catching fish when I'm out but when the weather is like that, then it's just nice being out in the countryside. I love that Island and the little hidden area you take the boat into. As you say, it looks like paradise. Totally secluded. Us fishermen are lucky as we know some great places hidden away on the lakes and rivers! It looks like the weather is getting even hotter soon. I think the Salmon season is going to be a late season affair over here! What can we do but wait and see what happens!

It's called a trangia and it uses methylated spirits i buy a drum of it for 22 euros and that lasts me for two years of camping weekends. You will buy the trangia in a camping shop. Some times Aldi or Lydl have them very very cheap about 20 euros and it will last you a lifetime i have mine well over 30 years. Look after it and it will look after you.
