I am so thankful for this message 🙏 God meant for me to hear this. I just told my husband that I feel alone and hopeless. Pastor Joel just gave me the steps to follow. My mom was in a nursing facility for 6 1/2 years before she passed in January 23. I still feel it twisting my insides... While trying to hold marriage together, while raising 2 children, while trying to work. I'm a huge mess. Thank you Pastor Joel and Seacoast 🙏
We are so grateful you found hope in Pastor Joel's message. You are definitely not alone. Caring for a parent while managing a family and work is incredibly difficult, and it's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. We are so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. It's perfectly normal to still be grieving. We also have some resources on grief available on our website that you might find helpful: www.seacoast.org/grief
Also consider that you can always pray for water, or in this case, an answer to relieve your pain. God can send you water but He can’t force you to drink it. Medication is the same. We don’t give the glory to the medicine but to God for making it possible to use it in order to ease the burden of the cross that we must bear in this world. Amen
