    The Mars-Hydro Grow Tent has been such a game changer in my growing hobby! I can go on vacation and not have to worry about the plants I have in the grow tents, but most importantly, my plants absolutely love the set-up. Especially the variegatas. It definitely encourages more variegation.

    Another fun shop with me! I do especially like when you mention that the nurseries you visit have online ordering. I like checking out their offerings. It's amazing to me to see the variations in plants, but also in prices! The prices have come down quite a bit from last year.

    Every time I watch your watch your videos, it makes me miss CA weather. I lived there for 35 years and I crave that sun still. Not to mention the beautiful plants I never see here in the PNW. Just pine trees and moss here.

      Pine trees and moss sounds so beautiful and different from California and I’d love to visit the PNW too 💚

    I love your restraint in not buying plants you know you cant keep alive even though they are calling out to you. I dont yet have that mastered 😞. Thanks for the tour its the only way I can control myself. 😂

    Oh my gosh, the fern leaf cactus, if you don’t already have one you really should consider it, I have one and it started out like that and now it’s in a 8inch hanging basket trailing down a foot plus. I have gifted so many people some of mine over the years. It’s by far one of my favorite plants 😊

    • @Patadendron
      @Patadendron  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds amazing! I have a super tall one that’s standing and not hanging! Maybe I can propagate it and have a hanging one too!

    .....back in the 1970's - 1990's you paid $0.89 to $1.49 for 4" pots! NOW, in the last 13 to specially 7 years they have sky rocketed beyond belief.....can only walk out with 2 or 3 to add to your collection!

      I enjoyed reading your comments about the prices of plants in those three decades. 😊. The prices were definitely lower and a twenty dollar bill went much further. I suppose everything is relative. My plants have always been a wonderful hobby for me so I find the time and the money for what’s dear to me. Happy growing!

      @@peggymalabuyoc9150 Yes indeed, my house plants and garden is my hobby and I usually walk out of nurseries with a load about twice a year. Had back sugurey last month and when the doctor stated I could start walking more....the 1st place I had my husband stop at on the way home from my 1st follow up visit was to Pikes Nursery to pick up some Snapdragons and Helleborus. Luckily he doesn't mind being my hole digger this Spring here in NC. Regards.

      Hi Susan, I’m wishing you a speedy recovery from your back surgery for sure! Your reply made me smile. Love Pike’s Nursery. I live in Charlotte, NC and I was at Pike’s last Friday. 😊. I haven’t picked up any plants for my yard yet but I have been looking to see what goodies they have arriving. I try to get most of my Hostas and Hukrahs/Coral Bells at Pike’s. Snapdragons are so whimsical and I love their colors. I have no doubt your garden is beautiful. Happy growing! Take care. 🪴😊
