  • This tutorial shows you how to attach appliques to crochet without the stitching showing through the back. I use this technique on all my blankets which gives them a clean finish.

    So are you just slightly splitting that yarn when you stick the needle in? (The fabric yarn, not the applique yarn) Thanks for making this video!

      La Mo you can do it like that. It won't make a difference. I tend to just go under the top bar (I'm not sure that's the right word) of the stitch.

    Thank you. Good information. (You could, however, edit out the first three and half minutes -- it's somewhat irrelevant whether there are 6 or 8 tentacles...)
