Hi Kim, quick question. I did this on my case today. I’m very happy with the all in all results. But I can see a light circle around the Apple logo like where the magnet is underneath. Did I do it too much or do I need to sand it down in that area a bit more? Thanks.
Look great, to me it just looks like that area needs some more sanding. Strange that it is so concentrared around the magnets 😊. But go slow, I can be wrong as it is hard to see on a picture alone. Maybe use it a few daus and wipe wirh some alco wipes every now and then can help also!

I would use it as it is for a while and see how it ages. That is a pretty dark case if I remember correctly. So the edges will take longer to look bad if you will even see them at all. Enjoy your case! 🙂
It is a Swedish brand called TipTop, not sure if it is available outside sweden but it is only natual stuff in it. Says on the box you can even eat it in small quantities 😅.
I wasn’t going to get the golden brown case because I’m not a fan of how orange it looked in pictures. But truthfully that patina job looks pretty good and it will darken a bit more over time. I kind of wish they made the Taupe color they had a few years ago. Great video thanks.
I really appreciate how you precisely sanded around the apple logo. It really makes the logo pop after doing patina. I’ve had my golden brown case for a few weeks only. I’m thinking of doing this. Or I might just wait until the natural patina starts to look ugly and then do this. Thank you for the tutorial! 👍👍👍
Out of curiosity, do you feel the 13 Golden Brown will withstand use better than the iPhone 12 cases? I’ve used the old Saddle Brown cases and was quite pleased with them. However, the poor wear on the iPhone 12 cases (edges) are making me consider returning the Golden Brown case before I start using it. Great videos btw!

I had the saddle brown leather case on my iPhone 6S for the past 5 years and it developed a beautiful patina. So happy to see that this new golden brown can get a sweet patina too! Fantastic video and looking forward to seeing more. Just purchased the iPhone 13 and would LOVE to have this beauty on it!
I think Apple fix it this year. The case does not feel as plastic as the 12 but feel more like the 11 as on hand. I think they will patina normally but no Saddle brown anymore 🥲🥲
I'm trying to decide between the apple golden brown case and the mujjo leather case. I really like the buttons on the Apple case but the color seems nicer on the mujjo. Thanks for the videos!

@@lennwel Hi! Yes I ended up getting a case the edges have started to patina but not the entire case. I wore it consistently for about two/three months and haven’t used it as much recently. Hope that helps

Dear Kim. Do you know, Apple uses the same leather type or better than iphone’s 12 pro?
It is pretty much the same on the new cases altho there is no saddle brown color anymore.

I did something similar once, with my saddle brown case. It barely survived 😄 apple logo almost flattened after sanding.
Already looking so much better!. The mustardy yellow was really disappointing on first sight.
