You are the only ones to actually test helmets. Revzilla just unboxes helmets, mentions specs and calls this a review. One can tell that there goes a lot of effort into these videos. On behalf of all riders watching this: Thank you

Thank you very much for your work. Your videos are very important to me! They are the best help in choosing a helmet. Be sure to continue releasing new videos!!!
I think the ls2 advant style helmet should get a different "ultra modular" ranking due to wight distribution in high speeds, or even low speeds, this new style of helmets lets you alternate between a real 3/4 helmet (with visor down) and a full face helmet, which a regular modular helmet only lets you to ride with sun visor while open.
Hi. I'm from Colombia and like your videos as they are based on number and I appreciate it. Have a question about comfort, I buy q xlite 1005 but the helmet touch my jaw. I think it will be dangerous in a crach. Is the neotec or the rhpa bigger? Which one have the biggest space between the chin and the helmet?
Did you test the regular RPHA 91 vs the Carbon. Would be curious to see if there is any actual difference beyond the obvious weight penalty. Edit: Just found the magazine review. These are the best reviews for gear i have ever seen. Its about time someone actually use data and facts not just reading the data sheet. Keep up the great work. Cant wait to recive my helmet from you. Cheers
No love for the Schuberth C5 carbon? The lightest modular helmet should deserve a spot here! I own one and the weight savings over my old neotec 2 is extremely noticeable. That itself plus all the other benefits of the regular C5 makes it worth it to me already
Good to hear that you're enjoying the C5 Carbon, however, due to it's enormous recommended retail price, the carbon version of the C5 is not able to make the top 10 modulars of 2025. Thanks for the comment, and don't forget to subscribe 💪
@@Championhelmets yes the price is pretty ridiculous, but honestly the weight feels ridiculous too after riding the Neotec 2 for 5 years. Also the weight difference between the helmets gets larger when you go to the L/XL size. I got the c5 carbon in XL while I used to be wearing an L in the Neotec 2. The Rpha 91 also fit me in an XL and the 91 carbon if not mistaken weighs around 200g more than the c5 carbon. I was honestly disappointed the rpha 91 carbon didn't weigh less considering it is carbon.
I've had my eye on those roof helmets for a while, I love the style, but always see they seem to fall short in every other factor especially for their price.
One question. If a helmet like a Caberg or a Bell, Airoh etc.. modular helmet is not on this video, it means they didn't make it to your top 10 or you just didn't test them?
How come RPHA 91 has bad opinions online when it comes to the noise levels? It's the most important characteristic for me and I think I'll take the safe bet and go with Neotec 3.
I think it's the human / head factor as well. I went for the C5 as it had great reviews, total let down for me, as an old HJC helmet was more silent to my ears. I've been going back and forth this whole season on Neotec or RPHA91. I've landed on the HJC, due to good experience on their cheaper products. Having said that I do feel Shoei is the more premium product in both fit and finnish. Hower I weigh less road noice as more important.
Honestly, some people share their gut feeling, it has nothing to do with the actual noise insulation but only with their perception. Nothing more, nothing less. That's the exact reason why we measure them. The Neotec 3 is not necessirely a safer bet honestly. Best is to wear them both and see which ones actually performs better, aside from people's gut feeling.
Yeah, I guess a lot of opinions and user reviews aren't posted after using the item for a while. That head shape take is interesting, haven't really thought about that being a factor.
These are all Euro spec helmets. I believe that HJC modifies their helmet for DOT cert and sales in the US. These mods supposedly make the helmet inferior to its Euro cousin. Any insight on this.
Thanks for the comment. In terms of safety, all helmets have to pass the exact same ECE22.06 safety standard. Generally, carbon fibre helmets need less material to pass those standards than polycarbonate / fibreglass composite helmets, therefore, carbon fibre is rated slightly higher than fibreglass composite. Additionally, the protective capabilities of a helmet are influenced by so many different factors, which makes it wrong to claim that one material is more protective than the other, and that this is true for every single helmet.

Nice to see my RPHA 91 Carbon is the best modular helmet
Just ordered mine. Curious if it fits tight or true to size?

LS2 chin bar raises and locks back making it legal to ride as a 3/4 helmet.Others it’s just a feature to lift up at stops.
DO you ride with it?
Can the 91 be put on/off in the full face helmet position or do you need to flip up first?
Yes you can put it on and off in f-face mode.
Glad to see the C5 yet again in the top 10🎉
Thank you

They honestly do, with the exception of their style. And for this reaosn many people ride with it. Please don´t forget to subscribe.

Thank you for your comment. Can be both. We haven't tested each helmet out there, but we did many brands
To bad the Schubert no longer provide the ECE26 helmet in North America ... I have shoei 2 maybe I will keep a shoei as an helmet.
Next time can you score Airoh,Caberg...other brands
For that it must be a top 50 dude...

Heavier usually, and ECE are tested more strictly. Heavier and more impact testing than DOT. Hope this answers your question.
Isnt fiber glass material the safest? Why you rate carbon fibre higher than fiber glass? Weight does not translate to safety

Very good video but please advise what is different from the one that you made for 2024 th-cam.com/video/Z7d3NRvaSYA/w-d-xo.html
Which is your favorite helmet?
@@Championhelmets I have the C4 modular but I think that hjc is better than the C5 why are you asking?
