Superb video again mate. The weather may have been problematic, but it looked epic, even on this tiny phone screen. For me, best Chesil video on TH-cam this season mate, that’s not to say there hasn’t been other good ones, Christchurch Angling Centre, The Shore Hunter to name a few others. Very informative as always and some lovely looking Plaice. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Well! That was different, I liked it though. Absolute stunning place. It was like I was looking at a different country for a moment, those ranging sands and clear blue waters. Amazing. A nice little haul to boot aswell. Nice to see that you’re back out there Jansen.
What a beautiful beach! Would love to visit there one day and have a fish. Another great video Jansen. Look forward to your next session. Cheers from down under!
Another great video jansen thank you. Brought back many a good memory of days gone by blasting a bait out and watching it drift round in the tide and then the tip being pulled down.
hi jansen you ok. another enjoyable vid cheers. never fished chesil or that neck of woods before . it looks cracking mate. well done on ya plaice. All the best jansen from grimsby north east.
From all the trips I've had to Chesil, I've never fished that end and great to get the shelter out too. Interesting how you fished the single rod. I've just started using my watch to time baits which worked well on my last trip. Liking the music too. Thanks for posting 👍
Well done mate 👍I was down there last Friday very windy, but managed a few small ones myself. Managed to put the baits out at a good range with the winds behind me 💪keep the videos coming
Thanks for the video Janson. Great as always. I contacted you with regards to a bit of guided fishing & what I would like to catch is any Ray other than a Thornback as I catch them all the time where I live. I would especially like to catch either a Blonde, Small Eye or Spotted Ray as these are rare to non-existent where I live. I’m flexible with dates as I can do a mid-week or weekend trip.
Hi David, many thanks for the kind words. Please can you send an email to jansen@thegamblingangler.co.uk and I’ll get back to you today with a potential date🙂🎣
The clear blue water! The shingle under foot and the beach shelter doesn't suit you! Get the saltigas back out and get back in the mud! Jokes aside awesome video and presentation always bang on mate 🎣🎣🤟
Grate video what end of the beach is this I usually fish in the middle at the coast guard cottage .Abby I've done dragons teath but chingle was a killer 🤣 that path u toke was looking fairly easy to walk on very interested thinking of going soon any help would be great
How do you find the casting specials compare to Daiwa 7HT's and Abu 6500's distance wise ?, The higher line capacity always made me think despite their name the Casting specials weren't really distance reels.
This is what you need Chris, with a little practice it’s easy enough to remove a deeper hooked fish- www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/VMO-Flatfish---Match-Disgorger-7777.html#SID=163
Come on Jensen, you know a new video is required. If I don’t buy quite as much stuff from your company, will that mean you can leave early one evening and make time for a new video 😁

Wow, that’s quite a statement Chris! There are some great channels showing Chesil in all its glory right now. Tight lines to you🙂🎣

Thanks Dave. It was a little bit different and I think a lot of viewers came here for Bristol Channel based videos, but glad you enjoyed it🙂
Excellent filming, stunning location and beautiful fish. My spirits always lift when going to Chesil. Stay safe and tight lines. Mike
Very kind of you Mike! Thanks for watching and stay safe yourself🙂🎣

Another great video jansen thank you. Brought back many a good memory of days gone by blasting a bait out and watching it drift round in the tide and then the tip being pulled down.
Thanks Peter, glad you enjoyed the film. It’s a wonderful place to fish and when the fish are biting, you can’t beat it.
You come across very Well ….

hi jansen you ok. another enjoyable vid cheers. never fished chesil or that neck of woods before . it looks cracking mate. well done on ya plaice. All the best jansen from grimsby north east.
Thanks Carl and tight lines to you🙂🎣
I think Cogden is my favourite area of Chesil- just not the walk back up the hill with the gear at the end🥵. Great video Jansen!
It’s definitely one of the quieter marks. But yes, that walk!😄🎣

Cheers Paul. Sometimes it’s easier to focus on just the one rod, but especially when trying to film the whole thing with any sense🙂
Great watch Jansen, there's just something about catching flatties from chesil. Hope your doing well :)
Cheers Adam, it’s always a nice change of scenery on the shingle. Keep hitting those impressive casts mate🙂
Great video quality and editing. Thank you.
Thank you, Pete! 🙂🎣
Fantastic video as always keep them coming

Well done mate 👍I was down there last Friday very windy, but managed a few small ones myself. Managed to put the baits out at a good range with the winds behind me 💪keep the videos coming
Thanks Lee. The wind certainly helped to get a few extra yards. Tight lines🙂🎣
Great video Janse looked a lovely day for it mate 👍😃

Thanks Andrew, I parked at Cogden and walked east for around 15 minutes or so. It’s not too bad a walk🙂🎣
@@thegamblingangler thanks for the feedback tight lines love the videos
hi janson what part did you fish great video
Thanks Keith, I parked at Cogden🙂

I personally feel that the 7HT Magnofuge has the advantage in terms of distance, but the gearing on the CS is possibly superior.
@@thegamblingangler Thanks, The large line capacity has always made me think of the CS as a rock reel, I use Abu 6500's for all my fishing on Chesil
me and my brother michael and ron at night in december in 1991 at chesil beach it was very cold all we got was pouting
Not caught a plaice for a few years now.... But, any chance of showing us how to properly de hook one these small mouthed fish thanks...?
This is what you need Chris, with a little practice it’s easy enough to remove a deeper hooked fish-
