It’s not that you can “jump once during glide boost” it’s that you can use your double jump while in air. If you double jump first, you won’t be able to go up again until you land
I kinda hoped that her melee would be like the opposite of a zen kick where when it hits an enemy it would push you away from them (and possibly recharging your double jump). I feel like that would be a fun way to stay in the air by basically juggling yourself off enemies.
Some cool tech I learned from playing with her. You normally can’t glide without using your double jump if you’re already in the air. So if you want to start gliding, you have to waste it. But if you go to the settings and enable “Glide while Crouching”, then you can start gliding midair without wasting the double jump. It helps with air movement and strafing.
some other notes 1. the gun and bullet may be inconsistent. since the gun can fire through full health allies, you can actually damage enemies through full health allies even if the gun is showing healing mode 2. double jumping after glide boosting gives you a way to control or change your vertical height, and cancelling it will start the cooldown earlier 3. the torpedo lock on stays with the target so if you peek them again (after getting a full target lock on) it will instantly lock on, and the lock on timer is based on the distance to the target 4. the homing projectiles lose team color and float aimlessly if their target dies prematurely 5. you can use glide boost to quickly escape abilities like pig pen and other slowing abilities 6. you cant clear ledges very well with double jump, but you can clear them with glide boost 7. hyper ring can be used with wrecking ball to boost him across the map at incredible speeds 8. double jumping later rather than earlier allows you to clear larger / longer distances

@@teejay1646 Makes no sense whatsoever, and no. He is a healing oriented character and his weapon has no fall off, allowing him to be extremely good suppressing fire when no healing is necessary. If you think his weapon needs faster swapping and/or more damage or whatever you clearly don't understand the hero's concept. The only thing he needs is lower CD on his grip, a larger ammo magazine on his blossoms and he is fine. He already has a HoT by the way(it's not DoT when it's a heal lol), the blossom doesn't heal in bursts, it actually regens over a quick time. So it's technically a HoT. Edit: I like how in so many other comments you’re a constant butt to other people. And also saying the abilities of Juno are “janky” but you’re here suggesting even more janky stuff to add to Lifeweaver like hello? If he can’t hit stuff then he won’t get his higher healing? So I have to keep peeking and risk my life and who’s gonna grip then if I’m dead. And also in LOS AKA right next to my DPS more than likely.
The speed ring is unfortunately a huge visual obstruction when viewing it from the side. They made it really thick and it's completely opaque. I hope they reduce this for the full launch
Myths to bust: Do Juno’s Pulsar Torpedoes track Allied and Enemy Sombra’s if they translocate after the Lock on? Do the Torpedoes continue to lock on to an enemy Sombra if she goes invisible but remains in line of sight?
One note for the missiles they will collide with player model in their way to their target. Meaning a tank can body block the damage to save a squishy from being hit by it.

Glide Boost Correction: The jump during Glide Boost consumes your Double Jump, meaning if you Double Jump before using it, you cannot jump in Glide Boost again. Similarly, if you use Glide Boost and wait for it to end, you can still use a Double Jump afterwards. Also, your Double Jump is slightly higher than Genji's, and since Juno doesn't ninja flip in the air when she Double Jumps, she's VERY easy to hit during it compared to Genji. Don't use it willy nilly in a teamfight against people who can gun you down.

I can't wait for everyone to troll my games with this nonsense and feed at the speed of light before everyone realises that stacking speed boosts isn't actually that valuable aside from being a rapid ult charge delivery system
but in most cases, I see her as a chip damager and finisher, especially with her turrets that have los homing and since damage drop-off past her effective range makes her damage per pellet down to 2.1. and the speed boost for her allies and herself.
With Pulsar Torpedoes they hit any enemy that is in the way as they travel to their target. That means if you crouch behind an enemy as you launch your ability all of the Torpedoes will hit that target. If three torpedoes hit a 250 health opponent you can finish them off with a kick.
A tip I noticed when playing is that if you land all of her bullets, shoot + shoot + melee kills any 250 or below health hero (not sure about those with armor)
here are a few things to try for the myth busters: do a 360 before the melee to see if it does more damage, the more ppl in your lock on the more damage you do and if you hold a wall you can jump again
You could see if the Pulsar Torpedos or Orbital Ray can lock on / affect B.O.B since some abilities can target B.O.B, For example: Ana's Nano Boost, Mercy's Damage Boost, Ana's Nade, Kiriko's Kitsune Rush.
Nice video. I think she seems like a pretty interesting addition, and I like the feel of her primary fire. My main complaint is the non-interactive, AOE fire & forget ult. I don't understand why the dev team keep adding these types of ult. They have limited value on maps & in situations where you can kite it, but they're kinda OP on maps where teams have to push through it (e.g. OT on a control map when the defending team uses it on point). But the main complaint is that it's a push-button-go-afk ult with zero skill expression. You can't even break it like e.g. LW's tree (which is also a boring ult) or Orisa's old bongos. Instead, I think devs should be creating ults that are interactive and have choices/agency built in. Looking at the support roster's ults, I'd say Bap, Mercy, Illari, Lucio, Ana, Zen and even Moira have ults that provide them with the ability to have agency and make choices that can kill or save teammates or provide skill expression. Then we have LW, Kiriko, Juno, and probably Brig where you push a button and that's about it. Brig can at least move around with rally but it's still a boring ult where the only nuance is with fight timing, tempo etc. LW can use his tree as a pricey Mei wall to wall people off or block ults, so I'd rank even that dreadful ult above Juno's. E.g. My thought experiment for whether an ult is good / has skill expression: let's say two teams both use Juno ult on the same spot, there's no real carry potential. Compare that to two Lucios hitting beat simultaneously, but one gets cancelled or has poor awareness and so doesn't land the sound barrier shields on their teammates -- there's a clear difference in skill expression / impact even though Lucio's ult is also a more nuanced button push.

There’s a set delay between bursts and it’s exactly the amount of time you need to melee. Huge dps boost if used on targets close up, with no additional time between bursts.
I think one bit of feedback for her character feel would be that I wish you could target and use the missiles at the same time as shooting. They could balance the power around this change but it would feel more fluid
junos gun actually goes through teammates, unlike anas, so you can shoot without worrying about body blocking, or you could hit multiple teammates with the same bullet, very useful in theory edit:to clarify unlike anas gun junos goes through damaged and full hp friendlys, meaning it goes through any and all allies, if you aim at an enemy no matter what your either gonna hit them, or another enemy

Also the torpedoes beeping noise, that most peoppe understand as an indicator of actively locking-on, is as a matter of fact, only triggered once Juno already has a lock on a target. Which mught mske it a bit confusing. Essentially, once you hear ut, its already too late.
Honestly, i haven't played since Venture came out, but she looks fun and might be the thing that brings me back to the game (I just need to convince my friends to play again, which is a whole other task)

I believe Juno and Lucio speed-boost stack. You need to first use Lucio boost, as it is affected by speed cap. And then use Juno ring as it ignores speed cap. We need more mythbusters.
I swear the ring doesn't refresh the speedboost Once you get the boost even after the boost ends if you go through the ring again you don't get the speed boost one more time

She's actually a pretty versatile yet balanced support as is, i just hope they make the speed buff a normal speed like lucio boost, and kiriko ult, because right now junker queen has a faster boost speed than her.
For the mythbusters episode, I already tested this myself, but Mei's wall does not stop Orbital ray from travelling I already kinda expected this but as it blocks bastion and Doomfists ults from travelling WHEN NOT ZOOMED OUT, I thought it'd be something worth testing
I like how they basically took the Shimada's movement abilities and basically split it into two different support heroes Kiriko got the wall climb Juno got the double jump
Def recommend turning off “toggle” for all her abilities. She feels much more fluid holding keys while using her abilities. Ofc your personal preferences matter here.
Very interested in trying her out! She looks very fun and unique. I also love Xanthe Huynh as the VA, every character I know she voiced (Haru Persona 5, Marianne Fire Emblem Three Houses) have been favorites of mine.

Here at 5:00 speed boost is capped at 75% in this game. Juno ring = 50%, Lucio base aura at 25% without amp.

What you could do is use the ring+ speed aura for 75% then when the ring effect ends use the lucio amp+ queen shout?
The no headshot for juno really balances her out damage wise.
Especially with that insane 15 shots for ONE clip. Insanity considering each "shot" is a 3 round burst with little to no recoil.

It's a particles effect, not a deployable like LW's tree.

I've found that it's best to jump once before activating glide boost and then save the double jump for when you need it. And it throws off enemies
i like the approach, being outiside the no fall-off and/or heal-dmg at the same time supports, lookin' at u bap.

junos gun actually goes through teammates, unlike anas, so you can shoot without worrying about body blocking, or you could hit multiple teammates with the same bullet, very useful in theory
edit:to clarify unlike anas gun junos goes through damaged and full hp friendlys, meaning it goes through any and all allies, if you aim at an enemy no matter what your either gonna hit them, or another enemy
Anas shots go through full hp allies since like 2018

I noticed that Hyper Ring (E ability) lowers her Support auto-heal cooldown and makes it to start almost instantly
I dont play this game anymore but i love these.

Also the torpedoes beeping noise, that most peoppe understand as an indicator of actively locking-on, is as a matter of fact, only triggered once Juno already has a lock on a target. Which mught mske it a bit confusing.
Essentially, once you hear ut, its already too late.

Honestly, i haven't played since Venture came out, but she looks fun and might be the thing that brings me back to the game (I just need to convince my friends to play again, which is a whole other task)
The Torpedoes feel so bad to hit, like the feedback u get from them is so lackluster..

@@teejay1646 especially for the healing, like unless u needa heal ur whole team, which even then is hard cuz u have to have the right angle, the heal isnt the same as just using her weapon, its like using ana's nade to heal instead of her primary fire lol
Its nice her weapons seem to heal friends and hurt bad guys all in one. No need to switch all the time.

1) Can Venture get the speed effect from the hyper ring will they are underground ?
2) When Juno dies but press e (her hyper ring) at the same time, does the ring get cancelled ? (Same question but with her right click, the auto lock)
3) Can mei brock the effect of the Hyper ring if she use her wall on it ?
4) Can a shield block the trajectory of the orbs from her right click when it target the ennemy team ? (+ same question but with the allies)
5) Can the hyper ring trajectory can be blocked with a shield, a LW's tree, a Mei's iceblock, a Torb's turret, a Illari's Pilone, behing a Mei's iceblock and behind someone ?
6) Can B.O.B. go faster with the hyper ring (prob yes but who knows)
7) Can Juno go faster than a Junkrat's ultimate with her shift ability ? (And if not, does she go faster by pressing her e and shift at the same times ?)
8) Can Juno's right click lock into the turrets of Torb, Illari and Sym ?
9) Can the hyper ring go up if this is put on a LW's platform ? (I hope this is clear...)

11) Does the shift of Juno is completly cancelled from a stun (Cass' frashbang, Hog's hook,...) or can she still fly after ?
12 ) Can Sombra cancel the ultimate of Juno by hacking her if the orbite is there ? (Same thing with her EMP)
13 ) Can Sombra cancel the hyper ring of Juno by hacking her ? (Same thing with her EMP)

@@Emma7846 No it's going to be awful lol. You give up Ana ult/nade, Bap lamp/heals or Weaver grip/heals for...another speed boost.... that Lucio already does much better with more uptime
Pair with Lucio is actually the worst choice, they don't stack their speed

I believe Juno and Lucio speed-boost stack. You need to first use Lucio boost, as it is affected by speed cap. And then use Juno ring as it ignores speed cap. We need more mythbusters.

Once you get the boost even after the boost ends if you go through the ring again you don't get the speed boost one more time

She's actually a pretty versatile yet balanced support as is, i just hope they make the speed buff a normal speed like lucio boost, and kiriko ult, because right now junker queen has a faster boost speed than her.
For the mythbusters episode, I already tested this myself, but Mei's wall does not stop Orbital ray from travelling
I already kinda expected this but as it blocks bastion and Doomfists ults from travelling WHEN NOT ZOOMED OUT, I thought it'd be something worth testing
Honestly if she gets any changes I think her ult should just last a few more seconds

Def recommend turning off “toggle” for all her abilities. She feels much more fluid holding keys while using her abilities. Ofc your personal preferences matter here.

pretty sure the terrain doesn't need to be sloped for her shift to push her a bit upwards. You just need to be close to a ledge I think.
