Anyone that plays Pokémon Unite that starts a convo with “I deserve Masters” immediately tells me they don’t. If you can’t make the highest rank in this game (even as a casual), you just don’t deserve it. There’s already enough bad players up here anyways. The way you prove you deserve a rank is by carrying your teammates. It works like this in every competitive team game.
criteria to reach masters : Play the game enough and game itself will carry you to masters
Nah, you shouldn't HAVE TO carry your teammates hard. You should be enough to contribute towards most of your victories. But ya, of they are saying they deserve it without doing it, they probably don't deserve it.
Imo, he did way better than most other players featured on this channel. Just needs more macro knowledge and better communication with team
Thanks for the advice. I was without headphones and without a mic for this one, so that done some considerable damage to the team comp. As for the macro knowledge, I'm working on it, lol.

They got the most damage on the Cram game because they were damage farming the Greedent in the top lane 90% of the game. 😅
It’s not even that hard to get into masters. I consistently play the game for about a month to a month and a half and I made it from expert to masters. Now I know items and emblems are very touchy subject but honestly if you learn the mechanics you’ll do well.

My rotations got massively screwed up by the hoopa.. was relying on them for portals, lol. Missed one or two, but I personally think we were all slacking a bit there. Plus getting kited by CC was messing with me quite a bit. But, I had a heck of a lot of fun, lol. I'll get to masters with my speedsters, and maybe show y'all how to actually play Hoopa sometime 🤣🤣
Bro how do you not get to masters..I literally started playing again after season 3 and got to master 1700+ right now.. Also try azu whirlpool..It's quite good and underrated.Lets do some matches together sometime
@@energetiic267 lack of playing ranked dude. Lately my matches have been full of the same trolls and idiot players as standard. It tends to give you fits of rage when your teammates leave you to 1v5 the entire team at Ray 😶 literally, I have a win rate of like 74% in ranked total, so I can get there without issue. It's just I don't want to sit down and deal with one large dose of idiocy yet.

@@VM-gy8bm can I challenge you to a unite battle sometime? I'd say am pretty good but I want to know what I'm lacking to be able to help carry and support my teammates more.
First round of swablus, the veteran player started fighting the baltoy at 8:53. None of their top lane was ready for that spawn, but they burned their CDs on a baltoy with 3 seconds til spawn. Already a questionable judgment call barely 1 minute in.
Bottom lane was ready for 8 minute mid farm, but top lane and mid-laner were late, and veteran player never rotated to it.
After their ult at the 5 minute mark, I feel like their character knowledge and character skill are good enough for Master. Based on their rotation timing and target priority (chasing crustle instead of comfey as an example), I think there is solid room to grow. But I’ve honestly seen plenty of masters without a clue about any of that running specs/exp share charizard.
Cram game was less impressive from character skill perspective, and nothing there changed my opinion of their timing and threat assessment. Overall, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in masters, but I think they need to see more of each game than just what they’re doing at any moment.

@@VM-gy8bm thanks for taking the feedback well. I think you’ve got a shot at getting there, but in order to climb within masters, you’ll really need to work on timing those rotations. Games are won by contesting objectives and staying alive above most other variables.

Can even be mad at the veteran player because he was no worse than anyone in the video. Bad unite pops, terrible positioning, focusing on the wrong target, team comps are terrible, no real game sense or direction on both sides. The average unite players just showing the average unite match. Man deserves Masters not because he's good, it's because literally everyone that participated is bad. There was nothing to learn here other than Master rank doesn't mean crap in this game because the game play looks the same as the lower ranks

If unite didn't depend so much on the team being good as a whole or at least let you improve your builds like most other mobas do, I'd pull up. But I'm not pulling up to a lobby to lose because my team can't function on at least a basic level. Can't do 1v5, or in this case a 1v9 in unite.
