Just helpful tip. I did not know the kicking pattern for this video so I had to look it up. Next time I would say that the drum kick is on Beats 1 and + the and right after 2. That helped me learn this
Thanks! They are all Sabian, 14" artisan hats, 20" legacy ride, 18" hhx crash and 16" artisan crash. They are lovely cymbals I highly recommend! What do you currently use?
Thom Mills Drums Paiste Alpha mainly. 14 inch rock hats, 16 inch crash, 18 inch Swiss crash, 20 inch rock ride, plus a B8 Sabian 18 inch crash. Good, but I think I like the Sabians better.
@@robwong5701 Paiste do really nice cymbals too, but as with all cymbals you can't really not spend the cash for nice sounding ones unfortunately! Sounds like you have a decent set up tho, I'd say have a play around and buy a cymbal at a time that suits your other cymbals, so take them along when your trying out new ones.
Two notes played close together LR or RL to fatten the main note, the first hit falling before the 1 and the second main note landing on the 1 or downbeat
