Yes, they have Apple products on display and you can try different things on and whatnot, but it’s not actually about selling them. Apple stores are actually laid out as a place for people to come and work or relax (kinda like the one guy you always see in a Starbucks with a MacBook) but with an “official space” to do that in.

Will need to stop by when I return to NY for a visit. Although, it makes me wonder why Apple was able to renovate this fast while other buildings in NY are taking SO LONG TO FINISH? 🤔
She doesn't look like a Gen-Xer, maybe early Gen-Y but than again I don't see why anyone wishes to be Gen-Z. It's practically the Generation that all believe they are entrepreneurs and can't focus one thing before moving onto the next.

Amazing video, visited the store back in January 2014 and I knew about the closure for restructuring and I’m glad it’s finally open and operating again, bigger and better than before! That sheet music must’ve costed a fortune to make, considering all those AirPods :P 2:52
You do realize getting to this and getting to the Statue of Liberty are two completely different animals, it’s much more difficult and time consuming to get to the statue plus costs money, not the same thing at all.
The temporary store there had bed bugs and Apple didn't notify customers that it was happening. I get that it's a new space now and they're probably gone, but I'm not sure if I trust going there given the risk and the proximity of other places to buy Apple products.
I worked a summer job and walked past the store being rebuilt every day. Just another link in the chain of tourist traps that has become nyc. It’s sad that the people who keep the city running can’t even afford to enjoy it.
I am actually weird. I own apple products but don’t enjoy staying long on their store showroom. It just feel weird testing everything since I know how their work lol. I will just take a few minutes to look at the phone/tablet settings then get out lol. It’s just good to see the actual size and design of the product in person but I prefer checking the specs and reviews online. I guess these stores are for those devoted apple fans or to entice new users. Don’t really get the appeal of showrooms haha. I guess I am just not a phone/gadget enthusiast but I do stay long on gaming stores tho especially when browsing games lol.
0:16 that's really not saying much, the empire State building cost money to go up, and if you can't go up why bother, and the statue of liberty is out in middle of nowhere where you have to pay for a boat ride and then pay to get in.

It’s much easier to access. The store is right by Central Park and close to to the Subway station. Also you don’t need tickets to go in.
