@ 15:00 that phenomenon is colloquially known as “The Call of the Void” There are many theories around it but the most common is that your brain, being the ever efficient 3 lb chemoelectric anxiety machine, peers off of the cliff and thinks “oh! I’m up high! I need to get down! And the fastest way down is to jump!” But then the mammalian part (the smarty bits) of your brain goes. “Whoa slow down speed racer, that will kill us!” It’s that conflict that you feel when you peer out over a cliff.
BTW this game is free, so if anyone wants to check it out, you got nothing to lose. It's fun, and they added a new map since we played this 👀
