I bought the ARC160 last week to review and give away. Today I did testing and could not believe how small the welder was. I was impressed that it ran 6010 versus other welders I have tried. Cool video. Let me check your Mig200 video as I have one to unbox as well.
Awesome yes for what they are they are very impressive machines
Would 120V be way different?
Yes you'd basically only achieve half the power potential of the welder even less if it's not on its own dedicated 20 or 30 amp breaker a standard 15 amp or a 20 amp with lights and other things also running on it will limit you and it will trip often and each time it trips it takes less amps/volts to trip it each time following that
Finally! Someone who can actually weld and understood how to display all the features, like how to adjust hot start, and arc force. And that they do actually run a 6010.😃 Thank you sir. God bless.
I'm a first time welder, wanting to weld ango kart frame. It will be steel tubing between 3mm-8mm. Do you think this welder can handle that?
I could probably manage in multiple passes if needed

Yes I think it should work decently for that just be careful because your welding rods will introduce a different metal into the pattern so once your welds are set grind off the stick welds so they won't stay in your end result
It really only puts out about 125 I’ve seen on another video, I believe it’s AC output and not DC? nice review from you. I enjoyed watching this

@@SSSmithing Man, I bought the simpler Arc-160. (It only has an Amperage knob) Tried it out last weekend. Was able to lay awesome welds with the tiny rods that came in the kit. Rand it with my little 2500w inverter gen. So now i have a field portable welder in my PU for less than $500 (welder + gen)

I got the ARC200. Only have had it 3 day, but really like it. Exceeded my expectations. I also have the Mig130a. It's and impressive unit as well.
