Patience and a good drawing are definitely your foundation for the amazing detail you put into your paintings. I am learning to slow down more and the results have shown an improvement in my painting. I still have a long way to go to feel comfortable with my watercoloring, but I am enjoying the process with your great tutorials!
That's fantastic Mary! Once you make it about the process and not the result, it's easy to relax into it, be patient and enjoy the whole experience. I'm glad you're enjoying the process and seeing improvement. I hope it continues 🙂
i LOVE your demos. they are now my favorite! the cut ins using photoshop to strip away and highlight color areas is pure genius and extremely helpful. please keep making videos ❤️❤️
I've watched few demos you are publishing on TH-cam channel. Your advices on painting watercolor technics are brilliant, it would be great for me to paint again, I am watercolor painter for years !
Ms Mason you seem to be the least of the watercolor artist ive seen that uses a tilt stand to do your work. That helps to avoid neck pain right? Can you feature that stand you use for painting? Thanks
Wow....really wow. May I know what type and number of pencil you are using. Also, please let me know if you are using cold or hot pressed paper. Thanks a lot.
ok I know that but 99% of the time she paints the exact same as the pics. Thats why I was wondering But I think I would question Picasso mental health... 🤔 And also now that I look at video she just changed the leaves from green to red to show off the veins more so my bad. I just thought that the red leaves was the actual references
Hi Julia, I just do it manually with a highlighter tool. So you need to know where the different tonal values are to create the highlights, if that makes sense?

When you glaze, do you let the gaps dry first? If not, how do you not loose the Detail underneath the glaze
