We are visiting Pendle Hill tomorrow for Halloween, so now plan to follow your Pendle Witches walk as well whilst we are there, albeit the weather forecast isn't great for tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you enjoy, although I went up Pendle Hill this morning and many of the paths were quite boggy! The weather for the next 2 weeks isn’t looking great…
Thank you - I think you do get the better views on the first half, but the second half is far less boggier than the first, the only thing to be mindful of is picking up the Pendle Way footpath on the road towards Hollin Top as the footpath sign appears to have gone missing and the diversion around Croft House - otherwise easy to follow and enjoyable scenery.

Glad you are enjoying them! I went for an early walk over Pendle Hill this morning and extended it to take in Barley and Roughlee. Always good to wander around the week before Halloween as quite a few of the villagers carve pumpkins (there was one on the trig point of Pendle Hill as well) and put out witchy/ghouls 'scarecrows' in their gardens and around the villages. The ground was very boggy in places today though!
Glad you enjoyed. Many people from Barley just head up Pendle Hill, which is a great walk, but this Pendle Witches Walk and the Pendle Sculpture Trail do make good alternatives - much less climbing as well if you want an easier walk.

Thank you, it was a dry clear day for once - we’ve not had too many of those this last few months! I try to only film when it’s clear and dry, so between the toe and the weather I’ve not managed too many this last few months. Just hoping for some crisp clear winter days soon…

Another superb video - keep it up! I’ve done a few walks from Barley, but never this one. It is on the list to do now. Lovely views.
